A: That depend on the wheels that pick.

Q: 2. Do the avenger wheels that you offer fit this stand? Don't see the gauge of the stand tube in specs to cross compare with wheel specs...

A: Yes, the Avenger Combo Steel Stand 20 with Leveling Leg (Chrome-plated, 6.5') is like the Matthews Low Boy Double Riser Combo Stand (Silver, 6.4').

Q: 10. Any chance that this stand could be modified to have a minimum height of 24"? Can the intermediate stages be removed?

[Chrome] Avenger has the best combo and baby stands made these days, in my opinion. This one is very well engineered, and seems like it will last forever. If you lower the center post to the ground, the minimum height is actually 35-1/2, which is lower than the specs state (for the normal configuration). This puts it just over 4 higher than the rolling A5012 stand, but with a higher weight capacity. Good info if choosing stands for a skate-wheel dolly or similar application. Only dissapointment is that this stand doesn't have free shipping like many Avenger stands, but if you need a low combo it's still the way to go.

[6.5' / 2 m] These stands are built with quality and are very strong. Legs spread wide enough that keep it upright even at 12 feet high. Leveling leg is a must for uneven surfaces.

[4] Purchased two of these stands, they are heavy duty! These stands have a larger footprint than most, makes it more stable for heavier lights. Leveling leg is nice feature, not sure when you will need it but if you do you will be glad it's there. This stand has a standard c-stand pin built in, the pin can be lowered so you can use a baby pin "sold separately."

[Rectangular] Went back and forth between this stand and the avenger c-stands. Very happy I chose this because of the larger footprint I needed for the mini boom arm I purchased along with it. This thing will withstand anything, I am sure of that. Extremely tough and will last me for rest of career.

[Yes] I use this stand combined with an Avenger D600 boom to provide a solid support for booming White Lightning monolights fitted with just about any modifier imaginable. The combination works perfectly; I do not regret either purchase. As far as the cons go, it's very heavy. Also, you do have to take care when making height adjustments, as a fully loaded boom (with counter-weight) can be challenging to position without air-cushioning. Other than that, the clamp on the leg joint is a little stiff on mine making it somewhat difficult to deploy the legs. I thought the pop-up baby pin might be the weakest link in whole setup (a source of concern before my purchase), but it's proving to be just fine. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

[6.5' / 2 m] This thing is built very well, like most light stands should be! Consequently, this is a heavy stand. There's not much else to say, except the footprint is actually 27 inches, not 32.

[83 x 10 x 6"] If you are looking for a strong and steady support for your lights, this stand is right up your street! The steadiness comes with a price tough, this item is pretty heavy. Very well made, it's an Avenger!
