The Epson P8750D can print on just about all inkjet media except for rigid board. The Epson SureColor P8570D 44" Wide-Format Dual Roll Printer is less tall and uses less colors to save you money, and it can roll up unattended printing "jobs" without having them spill onto the floor.

Q: 8. I will be doing a fresh installation to a new computer. Will I have to do a fresh installation for the printer?

A: You will want to install the driver from Epson's site on the product page for the p700 so you can use it on your new computer. You don't need to do anything new to the printer itself.

Q: 9. Does anyone have any experience with printing a small size of paper with the P700? I assume that as long as the paper can fit in the guides, then it can be printed. I would cut a 4 x 6 paper in half for test printing with an Epson R2400.

A: The minimum paper size this printer can handle is Minimum: 3 x 5" / 7.62 x 12.7 cm.

Q: 10. Considering that P700 ink costs more than P900 ink, what is the "breakeven point" between the two printers. In other words, can you predict that if you expect to print more than X number of prints, you would actually save money by getting the P900?

A: I can't calculate the break even point for you, however the P900 is more quantity oriented and tuned, than the P700.

[4-Year ] I have yet to have an issue with my gear but I know that whenever I do, Canon will be there for me. As a Canon Professional, I rely on having gear that is always up and going. Should I have to send my gear in, they will fix it immediately and even send me a loaner. Anyone that is a professional, or even not... this is a must. Never leave home without insurance. This plan.. about $50, ... the replacement, over $400!!! Don't leave home without it. I highly recommend this add on. 5

[Additional] This was My second DS80 printers and was bought to some extent as a backup. I had a problem with it after just a couple of months. DNP paid shipping both ways and fixed the problem promptly at No Charge. They offer to send an exchange refurbished unit next day air but I had them fix mine since it was so new. Their service is good but out of warranty is expensive. My other printer never given a problem in 1 and 1/2 years and is no longer in warranty so I was surprised to have a problem with the new one. 5

[4-Year ] I love the camera for the few times I have used it so far.. Got a good case, but am afraid of the leaf lens protector as well as anything that can happen to electronics. Since it is a contract with Canon directly I am comfortable with the purchase . 5
