Q: 1. I have a Canon 60D with an 18-55m lens; Canon 100-400mm; and a Tokina 11-16mm. Will this set up fit in the 350? What about in the 450?

A: Because of the size of the 100-400mm, the Flipside 450 would be a much easier fit for all your gear. It could work with the 350 but it would be a very tight fit.

Q: 2. Will a Peak Capture plate attach to the straps on this pack?

A: As the bag itself has no arca-swiss clamp, there will be no way to attach the plate to the bag. However, if you mean attaching the Peak Design Capture Clip system, there are several places where the clip can be attached. The straps taper out and can be snuggly fit over the thickest part of the material. If your equipment isn't too heavy (medium-SLR or mirrorless) you can also attach it to several of the thinner-material straps that are on the main shoulder straps. In either case, we recommend that you use the hex-head fastening screws rather than the normal ones.

Q: 3. Is this pack water resistant/proof? If not is there a cover for it?

A: I think it would be fine, even in heavy rain. It has a built in cover and the camera is accessed from the rear. It should stay well protected from even heavy rain. Now if you go swimming, you might have a problem. But rain shouldn't concern you if you put the cover on correctly.

Q: 4. Anyone know why the 450 is less expensive than the 350?

A: The price point of these bags are of course set by Lowepro but the pricing has no bearing on quality or usefulness. Sometimes a particular size or model doesn't sell as well as others, hence the price to improve sales.

A: I found the space for equipment to be very limited. Wouldn't recommend it for large format if there are more than two lenses - or if one of the lenses is very large.

A: Yes the backpack is water resistant without the cover. The cover is necessary for heavier ran.

A: No, it won't fit. I was hoping my 2011 13-inch macbook pro would fit in the 350 bag but it didn't fit. And I would guess the 2017 macbook version won't either.
