A: This unit does connect to Hik-Connect. As for connecting to NVR, you should be able to but it will be only for the recording and live viewing. In order to utilize the talk and door release function you would need to have this on the Hik-Connect app as a separate device.

[500 Cycles] This is my 2nd video Doorbell from this company. If you put in a micro SD card it will record video without the card it only does a picture. There are no monthly fees. If you want to pay for monitoring they don't do that. I had a Ring doorbell and it will not record anything unless you pay at least $5 a month. You can call the company and they will walk you through how to install on your home computer where you can also view the videos at no extra cost. I have called them a couple of times and the on hold time is not bad at all. 5

[8 A] I was using a Laroue Verifact microphone and was not happy with amount of peripheral audio I was getting. Every creak of the chair in the room where the microphone was installed was overpowering the speech. I swapped the microphone out using this Hikvision device and the difference was like night and day. I could not be happier with the purchase and will be retrofitting two more locations with these in the near future. 5

[30,000 mAh] After several weeks of research for an ultra wide camera that wouldn't break the bank, I requested a quote and special ordered this one from B&H. Took a bit long to receive, 22 days from order day to DC, as it comes directly from HikVision California, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. I'm using this camera with Blue Iris, so I won't speak about the built in motion detection, masking capabilities and other characteristics of that nature. I rely on Blue Iris for those. Several features that were must haves. Single lens with 180° horizontal field of view, it has built in lens distortion correction, which can be manually disabled. There's a bit of distortion towards the edges of the image, but this is expected. RTSP capable, outdoor, PoE, WDR, and IR. Overall 5 stars, if you're looking for an 180° outdoor cam, definitely take a look at this one. 5

[White] The best NVR for the Chanel to use, the bandwidth is decent and need more power. But is really good. Use 24 Hard Drive of 10 slot, depending how long record you need a the balance of each camera. I recommend this NVR for any occasion you may need, have the storage, the feed online is very fast. 5
