[0.13 lb] I love this lens! The build quality is top notch, and the focusing is really smooth. I've been using it for astrophotography, and some interior architecture shots, and am delighted with the results. With a lens this wide, I can take night time exposures up to 40 seconds long before having to worry about star trails. Very sharp and the minimum focusing distance is amazing also. Highly recommended!

[0.13 lb] I am here to say I love Laowa lenses. I have half a dozen of them and plan to buy more. I particularly love how compact and light they are, the optics (Laowa really does innovative and highly differentiated things), the build quality and handling, and more recently, I love that they are making manual-focus lenses for Micro Four Thirds with electronic contacts to communicate EXIF and an electronic aperture (so I can focus wide open and have the lens stop down to the selected aperture just in time to take the shot). It is the best of all worlds and I wish more companies making manual focus lenses would add these features. I do not wish for autofocus; just for the rest of the electronics.

[3.2 x 3 x 1.4"] Use this lens on M5.3. M10.2 as and M1.2 Works well. Good images. Everything I would expect from this lens.

[0.13 lb] Very handy mini zoom for macro work. Don't know what I'd do without it.

[0.13 lb] Great build and image quality. It's wide (and m4/3), so manual focusing is no problem. In low light use MF assist and focus peaking at f/2. In bright light use f/8 and good old-fashioned zone focusing.

[3.2 x 3 x 1.4"] Very good, lightweight compact lens. I have tested this on my Z Cam S6 and it does in fact cover Super 35 in 6K, there is some slight issue with the corners in open gate only. It's rectilinear, so on the S6 with no lens correction in body it looks great, plus of course it is also way wider than m4/3. So for an S6 owner, you get the super wideangle, low distortion and electronic control.
Works fine on my Lumix cameras, but I have heard of some ppl with issues with the firmware. Works fine for me so far.
Sharpness: while not at the absolute tippy top, it's veru sharp across the frame. 2.8 is better than 2.0, and F4 or 4.5 is the sweet spot.
Aperture: this is electronic only.
Hood: a bit too flexible and small, but fine and it comes with the camera.
There's really no issues with this lens. It also can focus fairly close. It's hard to focus only because everything is always in focus.
When you look at it, it's tiny so you figure, well, it can't be that bright. But, actually, it's a bright lens with good color. It can overexpose a bit if you set it to auto, but this is easy to deal with with exposure compensation.
Flare: sure, it's a 10mm lens.

[3.2 x 3 x 1.4"] Ive used the 27mm for a while and was convinced I needed something a bit closer for my kit. Great tool to have and compliments the the other lenses as well for both my Komodo and R5C! Very little distortion, barely any breathing and the silver flare is not obnoxious! Recommend these lenses as they are small and light and great intro to the bigger and beefier vintage anamoprhics.

[0.13 lb] The Laowa 50mm macro for Micro 4/3 is a little beauty. It takes
sharp photos, it's easy to use if your camera has focus peaking, and
it’s handsome to boot. The build quality is very high, and the
lens hood is metal. The only thing that would improve it would be

weather sealing.

That said, I returned it because it was packaged very poorly on two levels. First, it arrived in a B&H box with only one partially-filled air
pillow, so that the lens box could move quite freely inside; the lens
box arrived dented on a corner. Second, the Laowa box has about an inch of clearance between the foam glued to the lid and the lens
sitting in its foam cradle in the bottom of the box, so that the lens
arrived loose in the Laowa box, too. The plastic bag the lens
was in had split, and the weird plastic “lens bag” that Laowa provides
was also beat up to the point of being unusable. I can’t bring myself to trust the lens even though I really like it because of the possibility that it could have concealed damage that comes back to bite me later.

I was going to replace my current macro lens with this one, but I’ll stick with the known, rather than take a chance on this lens.

I hope B&H and Laowa get their acts together to take care of packaging!

[0.13 lb] I chose this lens over the 7.5mm as I didn't want to go so wide. I found the 10mm is wide enough and with this lens being $100 cheaper than the 7.5mm along with it being an official M4/3 lens with camera communication, I felt it was a better value.

The image quality is great and I find it to be plenty sharp, even wide open. The sweet spot seems to be around F4.0. I also love the close focus distance which gives some nice macro images. There is some vignette at wide open just like the 7.5mm.

This is a great focal length for doing on camera gimbal shots. I feel that the 7.5mm is too wide and requires you to get much closer to your subject which leads to facial distortions. (big noses)

Be sure to turn off the in-body I.S. when walking with the lens hand held or you'll get the dreaded warbly background. I didn't notice too much warbly background with I.S. using the gimbal but I try to switch off I.S. to be safe. I.S. isn't needed with this wide of a lens on a gimbal.

[3.2 x 3 x 1.4"] I have the Laowa 10mm which is quite sharp and comes close to the claimed zero distortion, so I was curious about the 6mm. I was skeptical of the YouTube reviews where the guy raves it's sharp as a saber! Only one review, Photoblograper, said the lens was soft in the corners, which would not be suprising for a 6mm.

So...is it sharper than a ninja sword or mush in the corners? To my amazement, it's pretty sharp wide open, totally usable even in the exteme corners--IF--you don't mind the expected loss of corner illumination, aka vignetting. Optimal sharpness seems to be around f/2.8 but for even illumination in the corners, I'd use f/4 or smaller. I happen to like darker corners and often darken them in Lightroom, but that's what I was taught in the Ansel Adams books so maybe that's no longer in fashion.

I need to repeat the test, but it seems image quality dips after f/4, then returns at f/8. Unusual. Zero distorton? No, but pretty close. If you're aware of the incredibly high barrel distortion in most digital camera ultra-wide lenses, you'll realize how impressive it is to get close to zero at 6mm (equivalent to 12mm on full frame).

In short (no pun intended) here's another reason to like m43. A tiny, reasonably priced ultra-wide. Even if you don't use it every day, it won't be a hassle to have with you, just in case.
