[1.665 lb] I had already bought the Space Light or Cylinder Omni Softbox of this Angler brand to put my 4 Aputure Lightstorm LS LED Panels and they were perfect, a soft light so that my backgrounds are even, especially my chromas and endless backgrounds. Now I wanted my same 4 Aputure Lightstorm LS LED Panels to have modifiers like the Aputure 120 and 300d have (soften the light, without screw filters or read and use the grid or egg box), so after so much research, I bet again on the purchase of these softboxes with your grid or egg box and I was not mistaken (I had seen the Nanlite, D-Fuse and Ikan models). They are great and fit perfectly because of their strap systems. There are no photos or videos of how these softboxes are, so it is better if you share mine. Actually they soften the light very well and using the grid, it is incredible how the light punctuates it. It is made of very good material and is portable. Assembles and disassembles in a second. Also with the purchase of this softbox, the grid comes as a gift. I would have liked Aputure not to abandon these powerful Lighstorm panels and create its own modifiers for it, but Angler is very creative and trustworthy. Now I know that the Angler Octagonals Softboxes for my Aputure 300d and 600d will be perfect.

[Inflatable] If you are one of those people who get frustrated when needed to collapse these type of 1X1 softboxes, well, this one will make you REALLY happy. It is actually a JOY to open and collapse. Time it takes to fold away: 3 seconds on the clock, AND, I'm talking about still keeping the rods and diffusers ON so next time you open, it's all there, ready to flap open and start shooting! It actually pops. I made a review of the Timpani 2. Fast forward the video to the 21:54 mark to watch how to fold it.

This softbox fits the Timpani 1 and 2 like a glove. It provides a nice soft light. This softbox comes with 1 diffuser and don't forget that the Timpani also has a diffuser, giving you two layers of diffusion with the softbox installed.

Like any softbox you buy, you need a grid to control light spill. I use grids a lot when shooting in small rooms and many other reasons.

The material is sturdy and the price is unbelievably affordable and so is the grid (sold separately).

Keep the white diffuser as clean as possible, wash your hands before touching and it will give you a very accurate color every time.

[1.665 lb] For three or more years, I've been using a scrim on a separate light stand to soften light from my 1x1 Westcott lights. This softbox let's me leave the extra nightstand and scrim in the truck, and it produces a far more attractive light. The Angler is also well built. One of my best gear purchases ever.

[1.665 lb] Fits my Litepanel Astra 6x 1x1 perfectly! I've tried other cheaper brands that don't fit as good, quality is not there, and price of similar name brand soft boxes deterred me from purchasing those. This is a great middle ground product and came with collapsible grid as package deal. Would highly recommend!

[1.665 lb] For a store brand, this box is very nice. It isn't the quality level of Chimera (made in the States and still the best) but in fact, the design of this is much better than the Chimera equivalent which is too shallow to be very useful. The eggcrate that goes with it is solid enough to use regularly on set and on the whole I couldn't be happier with it especially at a very good price point.
