A: Yes. That is a good use for the Distribution amplifier.

A: We are currently saying December time but we do not have an exact date. The SFPs are Single Mode. It is possible to use Multimode fiber for shorter lengths.

A: No, the AJA 12GM 12G-SDI to/from SDI Muxer/DeMuxer reclocks signals and does not convert down or up. You will need an AJA UDC Up/Down/Cross Converter which handles one signal at a time.

A: Yes, you could use the Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini 12G-SDI to Quad SDI Converter for a video wall setup.

[0.22 lb] Using this to feed 12g signal to a shogun inferno. Like low profile cable and robust connectors. Signal is great and it’s perfect for my use. It is short on length so I’ll need a longer cable for other situations. 5
