Quickly change out microphones on stage or in the studio with the K&M 23900 Quick-Release Adapter, which provides a 5/8" thread for use with mic clips and other compatible gear.

Simply press the grey button and the threaded bolt is unlocked and can be removed. The anti-twist hexagonal connection is also ideally suited for use on microphone fishing poles. The body of the adapter is made of lightweight and robust aluminum, while the support for the threaded bolt is made of impact-resistant and low noise plastic. Two threaded bolts are included.

A: The quick release plate in this different then the plate used in the EG05A2 Tripod. However you could install this entire system on top of that tripod to "retrofit" it to work with the included plate.

Q: 6. I have a glidecam hd2000, how do I install the adapter to the glidecam plate? Are there certain screws that I have to buy? The one screw it comes with is to large for the holes in the glidecam plate

A: I would opt for using the screws that come with the Glidecam. This product will have compatible mounting holes on the bottom to attach.

[3.5 oz / 99.8 g] Item is of good quality material. I'm using it with my Rode PSA1 Boom Arm and Electro Voice 309A Shock Mount for easy swap with my other shock mount. A perfect add-on to lessen the wear and tear of the threads on both boom are and shock mount. 5

[4.8 x 2 x 1.2"] used to mount shape shoulder rig to non-vmount tripod Works good so far! seems like good construction. Button to release mount works great, doesn't stick because of small size, would be wary about putting too much weight on this, might get wiggle issues 5
