This P+S TECHNIK TECHNOVISION 1.5x 50mm T2.2 PL Mount Lensfrom P+S TECHNIK TECHNOVISION 1.5x 50mm T2.2 PL Mount Lenscaptures 1.5x magnified shots with S35 or full frame camera sensors and a PL mount. It features a focal length of 50mm and a maximum aperture of T2.2 for a deep depth of field. The IMS mount is interchangeable and can be swapped out for an optional LPL mount.

The focus ring can rotate up to 350° and the iris up to 90°, and both rings have 0.8 MOD cinema-standard gears. Focus distance and iris marks are displayed in feet. The prime lens has a minimum focus distance of 2.3' and offers anamorphic qualities such as high contrast, multicoating, lens flares, and shallow depth of field for a soft bokeh.

A: It is not possible. I would get the PL version and use an E-mount adapter if you want the most flexibility in the future.

A: Yes, the Rokinon Xeen 135mm T2.2 Lens with PL Mount is capable of capturing 8K images.

Q: 8. Is this lens parfocal?

A: It is not. A parfocal lens is a lens that stays in focus when the focal length is changed. This is a fixed focal length lens, you cannot change the focal length of this lens.

Beating some of the more expensive competition, the Xeen line covers Full Frame, not just Super35. While there is no mention about 4K compatibility at this time, it is my opinion these will perform well with 4K cameras.

Q: 10. What is the lens length?

A: The Meike 50mm T2.2 Manual Focus Cinema Lens (MFT Mount), is currently back-ordered and we unfortunately do not have direct access to it. The manufacturer does not state the actual size, but based on other Meike lenses which we can test, the packaging takes up about 2-3" in length and the packaging length is 7", which would put this lens at approximately 4-5" in length.

[50mm] Awesome lens to have with an entre cinema camera! I would say it worth the price but is too cheap for its quality! Keep in mind that because of the MFT mount, the angle of view is narrower than normal 50 mm, so if you're looking for something similar as a full frame 50, maybe go with the 35mm. Either way it's and excellent lens! 5

[Yes] I've used ROKINON lenses which were quite above average. The Sirui anamorphic lens was even better. I just finished my first feature using the Sirui. Now that I just used this Meike FF on my Bmpcc4k for my trailer.... I am just blown away by the depth of field, bokeh and color depth of this lens. The quality, the weight, the build quality is on par to a much more expensive cine lens. This is the range of a 5k plus cine lens. I'm planning on buying the other focal lengths as well 5

[43.3 mm] I have all 3 of the available PL mount versions of these lenses. I used on 2 proffesional shoots and WOW WOW WOW - I still cant get over the IQ for the price but with only 1 gripe---lets get out of way-- (no focus marks on AC side) not a big deal using FF on op side typically or remote FF if I have an AC so its not really an issue) If you are looking here you like consider the DZO Vespid line. TRUE they have a full set. However they have a very vintage look with oval bokeh and bad CA(on a few focal lengths) Those are smaller lighter and MARGNIALLY sharper true) however these lens have very little CA very little if any breathing depending on FL- propper full 330 rotation on focus, they are bigger but still small- However dont look SILLY on my RED like the Vespids do. I cant say this enough MEIKE hit a homerun here and I have ZERO regrets. Just wish the whole set was already available (24mm coming end of NOV 21) ---you cant go wrong here. 5

[T2.2] I really love this lens. It just stays on the Ursa permanently. Many great directors use the 50mm as a standard (I'm thinking of Ozu), and I've personally always found the 50mm the most versatile focal length. And this lens is superb. I used the Rokinon lenses before this, which I appreciated, but this lens has more character. I really like the long throw, the build quality, and just the creamy look of this lens. 5

[T2.2] Fantastic lens. Nothing to complain about. I use it to photograph artwork indoors. Zero distortion makes this lens ideal for my purposes 5

[T2.2] I have the set of these including the 50, 85, and 25mm, lenses; they are lovely. However, I'd like to note that the filter thread diameter for the 50mm lens is 62mm, not 58mm as described in the specs. The 85 and 25mm lenses have a filter thread diameter of 82mm. 5

[ARRI PL] After Veydra shut down the market for relatively inexpensive MFT Cinema Primes got even smaller. Meike has stepped in to take over that niche. The Meike 50mm is a solid, well built lens that gives a lot of bang-for-the-buck. I use it with the Blackmagic 4K Pocket Cinema Camera and it works great. I plan on acquiring a full set of Meike Cinema lenses. Prime lenses are the building blocks of Cinema Grammar and any true filmmaker should aspire to own a set. Zooms are for children... 5
