Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is large the right size for the Nikon 500mm PF lens? The whole thing (including my camera) measures just over 14".

A: Yes this cover is fine for the Nikon AF-S 500mm PF lens.

Q: 2. Will this case fit a Nikon Z6 with FTZ adapter and 24-70 VR lens?

A: The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR Lens is 3.46 x 6.1" / 88 x 154.5 mm. This bag can accommodate a 8" lens. I think this one, which takes a 6.5" lens would be a better fit. LensCoat BodyBag Pro Telephoto (Black) B&H # LELCBBPTBK.

Q: 3. How many bags of poly beads are needed?

A: The LensCoat LensSack Pro Beanbag Support measures 11 x 8 x 7.5", which is 10.82 liters. It is not an exact rectangle though; there is an opening at the bottom that will reduce the size of the bean bag. The Kinesis Poly Bead Fill for SafariSack 4.2 (B&H # KIR142) is 4.2 liters—I would recommend buying two bags.

Q: 7. I want to keep my tele lens (Nikon 400mm, f/2.8 and Nikon 800mm, f/5.6) with Nikon body 4DS and 5D. Will it serve the purpose?

[Touch Fastener] I bought the LegCoat Leg Protectors for my Really Right Stuff TVC-33. They fit perfectly, look good and give me peace of mind. I also have the OpTech leg protectors on another tripod but I will replace those with the LegCoat covers as soon as I can. The OpTech covers snag on bushes and are getting torn up as a result.

[Touch Fastener] I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I wanted at backpack that I could transport a tripod and a small amount of gear when taking a short hike. This fits the bill. I wish it had a slightly larger gear capacity, but it works for what it is.

[Foam, Neoprene] Allows me to keep my polarizing and neutral density filters immediately available, easily accessible and out of the way at the same time. Protects and keeps the filters cleaner than their original cases.

[Foam, Neoprene] I actually needed to carry a 77mm polarizer and a 72mm polarizar in either of two bags. With this combination, the 72mm may be tricky to get over the rim of the 77mm not a show stopper. I went to a local name professional photography retailer and was told We don't have any filter cases. Nobody carries filters anyway these days because you can do so much in photoshop! As far as I'm concerned duplicating a polarizer in PS is not one or if so, I'd certainly like to not waste that much time.

[Touch Fastener] I bought several of this kind tripod backpacks ever since I discovered them. So far they are the best way to carry my big tripods to day hikes. You could even leave the camera on the tripod when you walk, just remember to lock the head so the camera won't swing around behind your head.

[Touch Fastener] I was looking for less bulky way to carry a set of 52mm filters in my compact camera case and this has worked perfectly. I'm able to slip in two filters and then clip it to shoulder strap anchor point on my case. Bought one and liked enough that I bought a second in a different color. It is a tight fit. You could probably get a 58mm filter into it (as it's labeled by LensCoat) but don't expect to get anything larger in it. Perfect for my needs.

[Touch Fastener] I usually only need 2 filters (one on lens and one in a case) and this is the smallest I could find, perfect for carrying filters while I'm out, I use a bigger case for my home storage. Putting two 58mm filters in is pretty tight but doable. Easier to put two smaller size filters in. I've also been able to fit a Hasselblad B50-to-58mm adapter with a filter attached into the slot, but again, its snug.
