Add dual M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe SSDs and a 10 Gigabit Ethernet port to select QNAP NAS, Windows, and Linux devices with the QNAP QM2-2P10G1TB M.2 NVMe SSD 10GbE Cardfrom QNAP. By combining M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD storage and 10GbE connectivity into one solution, the QM2-2P10G1TB helps improve overall system performance by enabling SSD caching, while also providing an affordable upgrade path for adopting 10GbE networks. Its PCIe 3.0 x8 interface also provides higher bandwidth than SATA, which allows for faster computing speed and data access. By default, the QM2-2P10G1TB is mounted to a low-profile bracket, but low-profile flat and full-height brackets are also included.

Please note that M.2 SSDs are not included. Windows requires a driver, which may be downloaded for free from QNAP's site. Also, the TS-x77 and TVS-x82(T) series only supports installing the QM2 in the System Zone PCIe slot (PCIe slot 1).

The QM2-2P10G1TB boosts NAS performance by adding M.2 PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSDs. It doesn't occupy any 3.5" drive bays, allowing you to maximize both your storage capacity and performance.

  • M.2 SSDs can be installed (no tools required) to form caching pools or an auto-tiering volume.

  • Enables SSD caching to boost performance and optimizes storage efficiency with Qtier Technology.

  • Provides 10GBASE-T connectivity and backward compatibility with 5GbE/2.5GbE/1GbE/100MbE

  • M.2 SSD thermal sensors allow real-time M.2 SSD temperature monitoring.

  • A quiet cooling module (heatsink and smart fan) minimizes overheating risks and sustains constant high performance.

  • LED indicators enable monitoring of M.2 SSD status.

The QM2-2P10G1TB features a 10GBASE-T multi-Gigabit (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M) network port to empower your QNAP NAS with 10GbE high-speed connectivity for bandwidth-demanding tasks. With QNAP's various 10GbE switches, you can easily upgrade to a high-speed network environment.

[0.665 lb] Very easy to install. Just make sure you get the right m.2 cards, Sata not Pci-e. I got the wrong ones first time around and was scratching my head wondering why the drives would not show up. Got the right ones and the caching is very fast. Transfer rates are great and make file transfers much quicker.

[Low Profile] While this still isn't saturating the PCIe 4 x8 slot I have it in, this QNAP Expansion Card is certainly making better use of it than the regular 10Gbe card I had in that slot previously. Both nvme m.2 SSDs I have populated the card with are humming along without issue, and transfer speeds hit the advertised rate of 10Gbe when I copied over some files from my main desktop. Highly recommended!

[Low Profile] The QM2 card is a replacement, and is working great. I just wanted to mention that I have been a B&H customer since film cameras were king, and they always ship FAST and accurately, and they always have great prices. And they sell obscure stuff like QM2 cards. Thanks once again B&H!

[8.2 x 5 x 2.1"] Used expansion card to add Crucial MX500 M.@ type 2280SS SSD to QNAP TS - 453Be NAS. Item was well boxed and included everything needed for the install. Simply fitted the correct bracket (included) load the SSD's and had it up and running in no time.

No issues the card is preforming as expected.

[0.665 lb] Installed it yesterday in my TS453Be with a couple of Samsung nvme 500gb drives and the performance improvement of the Raid5 data volume (iscsi esx data store lun and network shares) is a 100%, love it so far also super easy to install in the nas.
