Q: 1. My wi-fi is very slow when I'm away from the modem, even using a wi-fi repeater, that's why I want to try this adapter since my samsung Ativ does not have ethernet input, and I wonder Which cable is more suitable to use for a distance of 33ft or something like that, will it work better with ethernet cable and the adapter closer to the repeater? or a a USB extension and the adapter closer to the tablet? which cable is better for a long distance? is the same?? Thank you.

A: USB has a max distance of 16' with out an active repeater. You would want to have a longer Ethernet cable and a short USB adapter and cable distance.

Q: 2. Can this be used to connect a camera (Foscam F18910W) with a LAN connection directly to a laptop computer via USB-C?

A: Yes, this adapter should be able to connect any device with an RJ45 interface to a computer with a USB-C input.

Q: 3. Do you need a moca filter on coax coming into house?

A: You will need to install one unit near your router and one near your mesh or device units when installing the ASUS MA-25 MoCA 2.5 Coax to Ethernet Adapter (2-Pack) BH #ASMA252PK.

Q: 4. Can I use this on my Blackmagic Pocket 4k?

A: Yes. The Pocket 4K has a 4x3 Anamorphic mode.

Q: 5. my built in Ethernet controller card on my lap top I think isn't working so I want to know if this will work in it's place ?

A: YES this will work in place of your on board Ethernet controller. It is a USB ethernet adapter NOT some kind of extension. I do not know what this other post is talking about. I have bought many of these for macbook Air laptop that do not have Ethernet ports. I have also used them with desktop machines. You may also consider a WIFI USB network adapter which will do the same thing just without the wire. Hope this helps. Make sure it is compatible with your operating system before you purchase it.

Q: 6. As i know SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 2.0x works better with 4:3 or APS-C Sensors. Here's my question to you, it will work if i will shoot 4K with my 5D Mark IV, which has crop factor 1.74x ?

A: It will not. the Anamorphot-50 is designed to work with cameras that have a 4:3 Anamorphic Mode. The 5D Mark IV does not have such a mode. You would need to look at the Anamorphot-50 1.33x instead.https://bhpho.to/2o7c4UO

Q: 7. I want to use my coax to hard wire my Apple tv via ethernet. Is this plug n play or will i have to call my internet provider to activate a new port? I have a coaxial modem in one room but not where I need it to be. Will this network adapter be in conflict with my modem?

A: That's exactly what I did and things worked fine - no conflict with modem at all, it was essentially plug and play. I also put a third one in so I have three rooms connected by the coax adapters: my office (with computers, printers, cable modem to Internet etc.); home theater room with internet-connected TV, appleTV and Blue ray player; and a third room with another TV. All are happy as clams.

Q: 8. Does this interfere with an SDI signal? What frequency range does it use (and don't say high)?

A: Yes, you can use SDI cables with the ScreenBeam Bonded MoCA 2.0 Network Adapter (2-Pack). The ScreenBeam Bonded MoCA 2.0 Network Adapter (2-Pack) supports the following frequency ranges: Extended D-band: 1125 ~ 1675 MHz Full Port Range: 5 ~ 2150 MHz TV/STB Out Frequency Range: 5 ~ 1002 MHz

Q: 9. What taking lenses should I use with anamorphot 2.0X and a full frame Canon 5D MKIII? I contacted SLR Magic technical support and they told me a canon 40mm f2.8 would fit but Im not sure it wont get vignetting. Ive read the B&H specs and they say that lenses between 70-100mm would do the Job with a full frame sensor. Please anyone experienced with a Canon 5D MKIII and the anamorphot 2.0X?

A: For a full frame camera like the Canon 5D Mark III, 70mm or higher is recommended. The statement that SLR Magic said a Canon 40mm F/2.8 would work is contradicting two points. 1. The Canon 40mm f/2.8 is an APS-C lens and cannot be used on a 5D Mark III and 2. our information says for an APS-C sensor 50mm would be the widest. While 70mm seem rather long, remember the 2x widens the angle of view by that much so in effect, that 70mm sees left to right as much as a 35mm lens.

Q: 10. How many of these would I need if I wanted this setup? TWC modem on first floor (I only have internet service), where the Motorola ARRIS modem is (and Airport Extreme router). It is also where the main coax lines run to master, loft, and bedroom. Would I need a set (2) of these to get to each room? Or can one MOCA adapter be connected to router, then split 3 ways with a MOCA adapter in each room? Appreciate your advice.

A: you need 4

[85%] Works flawlessly without any drop unlike Powerline Ethernet adapters. Just make sure to create a network using the adapters in 2-Pack first before adding(pairing) any other individual single pack MOCA adapters.

[ 12 VDC at 1 A] Awesome. Almost getting the full speed in every cable outlet via MOCA, as via modem. I am really pleased. I am already using 4 MA-25s and planning to get more. Only thing I noticed is that you must connect the 2-pack MOCA adapters first and then add the individual ones via the pairing button and not the other way. I lost a few days on that.

[AC Input] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t even know this was a possibility until now and definitely will not be going without anymore! These are a total game changer with a big family! We now have better connections everywhere in the house where it lacked before!

[7 W (Maximum)] The MA-25 was easy to install. After installing the MA-25, my Internet connection speed on the branch of my home network where it is attached is around 500 mbps, which is about 200 mbps faster than my main ethernet connection. Am very pleased with the results! The MA-25 is well-constructed and includes everything needed to use it on your home network. I have used other ASUS products before and have always been pleased with them. I would definitely recommend the MA-25 to anyone needing to set up a MOCA network at home.

[ 12 VDC at 1 A] The only way I could get fast gaming on the Xbox One was by using my Asus routers, they’re pretty good for playing with my PC on a regular basis

[7 W (Maximum)] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little adapters work pretty well. They do exactly what they are supposed to do. They extend my internet to other areas of my house where it normally wouldn't reach. The speeds are pretty decent and I really can't complain.

[7 W (Maximum)] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are nice adapters to have to boost your wireless signal. They were very easy to set up and connect well to the modem. They are a slim design and fits in many places. Overall this is a great product.
