Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What binder can hold these sleeves? Thanks

A: I'm using a standard three-ring binder I bought at an office store. The archival sleeves come with several different hole patterns, so they fit most any binder.

Q: 2. Is there a box or folder type system available to store these sleeves? Seems like an odd size.

A: There is no exact box for this item but the following Print File 5x7 boxes should work. 230-0031 FB57 Film and Print Box 5x7 230-0032 FB572.5 Film and Print Box 2.5" Deep, 5x7 210-5020 PBB572 Clamshell Archival Portfolio Box 5x7

Q: 3. Do these really measure 13 x 19 ? That would make it impossible to insert a 13x19 print. I'm hoping that they might be an extra 1/4 in each dimension.

A: The actual sleeve is larger than 13x19, although I've never measured it. It fits a 13x19 print inside of it perfectly.

Q: 4. Does the sleeve have a 3-hole punch so it can be put in a binder?

A: These pockets do not contain holes for use in a binder.

Q: 5. I have 4 by 7-inch glass negatives from the 19th century. Will these be ideal for archival storage?

A: As long as you are careful with inserting the glass negative into the Print File Negative Pocket and it is stored somewhere that will protect it from being crushed or broken during storage, yes, the Print File Negative Pocket (5 x 7-, 100 Pack) may be used for your archival storage usage needs.

Q: 6. Does this product come in a size that would fit a 4 x 6 photo set?

A: not specifically 4x6 sized but you could use the 5x7 envelopes.

Q: 7. Will this accept 10 negatives with a frame size of 6x7?

A: Yes, the Print File Archival Storage Page for Negatives, 6x7cm (120), 4-Strips of 3-Frames, Horizontal, (Oversized Binder Only) - 100 Pack will accept 10 negatives with a frame size of 6x7.

Q: 8. Are the sleeves open at both ends?

A: Yes they are open at both ends.

Q: 9. Can I put this Storage Page in the Print File 1.5" Portfolio Box Binder (BH #PRBB12132)?

A: Yes, this page will fit in the Print File portfolio box.

Q: 10. Can these be used for positives/slide film? I do not see why not, but still would like to confirm.thanks!

A: Yes, the sleeves are totally transparent, so they are perfect for positives.

[4.885 lb] I bought these, along with a Canon Selphy CP1300 to give Santa photos to children at a church Christmas party. They work great for keeping sticky fingers off the prints long enough so the prints make it, intact, home. Perfect!

[Polypropylene] I find that this size and thickness are perfect for photo archival storage. I have a huge family photo scanning project (nearly 1,00 photos, I estimate). I discovered that the best thing is to have a standard size and thickness for storing the photos. This size is very useful for any size up to 4 x 6. I store the photos in archival boxes and from time to time, I have to look through the photos. A sleeve with more body is easier to work with than lighter weight sleeves. The price is good. I have used over 4 x 6 500 sleeves so far.

[Polypropylene] I used these to package single 4x6 shots from a dance. They're nice and sturdy, easy to open and very clear.
