The Fantasea Line Hybrid Vacuum Safety System M16Cfrom Fantasea Line Hybrid Vacuum Safety System M16Cis an optional pre-dive vacuum test and leak detector safety system for underwater camera housings. The system allows confirming the watertight seal of the housing prior to the dive, using the vacuum system, and monitoring the housing seal during the dive using the moisture detector.

The Hybrid Vacuum Safety System M16C requires self-installation. It can be installed and used with Fantasea housings equipped with an M16 port or with other brands' housings with M16 ports, provided the thread is compatible, there's enough interior space, and the housing has a transparent area through which the LED indicator of the vacuum safety system can be observed and monitored.

[Black] I bought this case a few days ago after gathering all info on the Fantasea, Canon and Ikelite housings. I chose the Fantasea because it had great reviews and seemed to be a quality product without being too expensive. It works beautifully. Easy access to buttons, even touch-screen, everything worked great. I highly recommend this housing. 5

[Aluminum] The Fantasea Line UCL-05LF +6 Macro Lens is a well made lens with great clarity, detail, and sharpness. I've recently added this to my collection because I found the Fantasea UCL-09F +12.5 to be more challenging in regards to its minimal focus range and high magnification. Both are very good wet lenses, but this one is a bit more versatile for subjects that are not microscopic. 5

[Black] I use this for mounting an action camera through the windshield of my car; I have previously used another physically smaller brand of suction cup, which worked fine with the camera mounted directly on it, but with an extension arm, had some jiggle movement of the camera. With this cup, and the extension, absolutely stable, no jello cam! I believe it is sturdy enough to mount an even heavier camera if I had to. Good Product. 5

[Aluminum] Just returned from a dive trip to Cozumel and used new Fantasea housing for the first time. Everything seemed fine and no leaks. I did dive once with the housing without the camera as directed, The housing seems more sturdy than my previous Canon for a different camera which flooded. The directions instruct you not to close the housing when flying due to the cabin pressure. I left the back ajar and the back did seal during the flight and was VERY difficult to open to insert the camera to get ready to dive. Otherwise so far so good- used it for 10 dives to date. 5
