The GVM SD600S Daylight LED Monolight for Photographyfrom GVM SD600S Daylight LED Monolight for Photographyprovides high-quality, soft lighting, and a CRI rating of 97 for accurate color rendering. This monolight is a sturdy aluminum-constructed fixture that offers a solid 5600K color temperature. It provides 24,000 lux at 3.3' from the bare bulb and 129,000 lux with the included standard reflector. Special modes include master, rotate, CCT, and more, and it has eight scene effects available, including lightning, candlelight, bad bulb, explosion, paparazzi, fire, pulse, and TV. This LED light enables brightness control from 0 to 100%.

Three heat dissipation modes include auto, quiet, and high. The light is controlled remotely via a free app for iOS/Android from GVM. The controller unit comes with a clamp for attaching to a light stand, and features an LCD display and analog knobs for controlling the light settings. It has DMX in and out ports and two V-mount battery mounts, making it possible to use the SD600S on locations where AC power isn't available.

[1x Reflector] I was blown away by just how phenomenal their customer service was, I had purchased a motorized camera slider from them. They sent it to me quicker than I had expected, then when I noticed on the instructions it said there were a cord or 2 that was sold separately, I contacted them about purchasing, they said no problem they would be in the mail in a few days. Once again I was willing to make the purchase, they instead over delivering again. Honestly they should just be put in charge of every customer service experience at every company on the earth! 5

[Yes] Had two of these already and use them regularly for photo and video. Consistent, even power, flexible options for modifiers (especially love the fresnel attachment) and many more possibilities than the already great Godox offerings if you swap in a godox speed ring, mount for Sony batteries, light and compact. Only minor criticism is the single screw on the mount can sometimes loosen from the light itself. Has never unscrewed completely but made me a little nervous so I added some loktite to the threads which keeps it securely screwed. 5

[Yes] I've been using this for about a month as a key light for making YouTube videos and it works really well. The light is nice and soft and it generates very little noise. Setting up the lantern can be a little tricky at first, but after the initial setup, it's a breeze to use. This is a great alternative to Aperture lights. 5

[5600K] Though I am very satisfied with my purchase, this review will be based on the GVM Photographic's customer after sale service. About two weeks after receiving my light kit, I had a concern. Subsequently, an email was sent to the company. Upon checking my email about five days later, it was discovered GVM responded a few days earlier. The CSR who was very helpful, efficient and friendly rectified what I perceived to be a problem after a few emails. [5600K] I have been using the SL60 LED lights from Godox but these are so much better. Not that the SL 60 is bad it is very good for the money. You pay more for the ML60 but you get a smaller quieter unit and the option to use battery power. 5
