Monitor an indoor or outdoor area with the Dahua A82CJN2 8MP Outdoor Night Color 2.0 HD-CVI Camerafrom Dahua Technology. This unit uses a 1/2.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor to transmit 3840 x 2160 resolution video at 15 fps. Two white LEDS provide illumination for recording full color video from a distance of up to 131'. The camera's 2.8mm fixed lens delivers a 106° horizontal field of view. A built-in microphone enables the camera to pick up audio. HD-CVI, HD-TVI, AHD, and CVBS signals are supported.

This turret camera is housed in an IP67-rated metal enclosure that is suitable for safe outdoor use.

[f/1] unbelievable low light sensitivity. At 1/12 exposure and 10fps it has similar low light sensitivity to an iPhone 13 Pro night mode with 3 second exposure. Then you have 4K, h265, ONVIF, speaker, microphone and IP67. Just about perfect. 5

[1x Barrel Input] This camera does audio over Ethernet and it's one way audio. The picture is as crisp and clear as it gets, huge improvement over our previous system. At night it can become grainy if there is not enough lighting, but this is not a fault of the camera. With proper lighting, you will still be able to see crisp, full color images even at night which is the case with our setup. Does motion detection, along with a number of other features to alert you of activity. We have a number of these connected to the HikVision DS-7616NI-I2/16P NVR, the only thing you need to be aware of is the amount of space the video feeds can take up. You never know when you may need to go back several months for some footage, so the more HDD space you can get, the better. 5

[1.47 lb] I was looking for a turret camera for my new place but wasn't sure on distances and angles as I had not moved in yet. I was also concerned about lighting as it would be very bright in the first half of the day and dim during the second half of the day. I installed the camera (I had to look up a video to figure everything out to get it apart and then installed). My only issue with the camera is that when WDR is turned on, the image starts to have additional artifacts / graininess added to the video. This is somewhat understandable since the image is being processed. Turning off WDR make this go away. Due to the high resolution of the camera, when I am viewing multiple cameras in blue iris, this camera appears a little blocker than lower resolution cameras. Lowering the resolution closer to 1080p resolves the issue if needed. I left it at 3200 1800 which gives me 30 fps at 60hz while still giving me hq video. If I select to view only that camera feed, the video resolves fine. I suspect this might be a limitation with the blue iris software. IR works great and different IR cameras kick in depending on the zoom level. I also have an exterior mic attached to the camera which is working great. 5

[Metal] It took a while to get these cameras (3 months waiting), but they were worth the wait. Lightweight and smaller in size than the a similar IP camera. Shell is a less study plastic than the IP cameras with no locking screw to lock the camera in place. That said, they hold position and mount quickly. We mounted 11 of they cameras around a house in under 8 hours. It would have taken longer with the IP cameras. The size and simplicity of the camera is a real plus. 8mp image was great. Cheapest 4K camera in the hikvision line. Overall, very positive on the camera. 5
