Expand the ports of your laptop with the Plugable 12-in-1 USB Type-C Docking Station. This docking station can output to up to three 4K monitors via the three HDMI ports, three DisplayPort ports, or a combination of the two. Even if your laptop can output to only one display, the docking station utilizes DisplayLink technology so you can output to three monitors. Don't forget that you'll need to download the DisplayLink driver for full functionality.

While the docking station definitely helps expand your desktop to other displays, it also provides additional USB Type-A ports (two in the front, four in the back), a USB Type-C charging port with 60W power delivery, a 3.5mm combo audio jack, and even a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 LAN jack. The docking station is powered by the included AC adapter.

Connect to three HDMI monitors, three DisplayPort monitors, or a combination of both. This docking station offers three 4K HDMI ports and three 4K DisplayPort outputs, so you can mix and match up to three monitors without adapters. For computers that only support one display, this docking station has you covered with DisplayLink technology. Please note that you need to download the DisplayLink driver to get full functionality.

Aside from a plethora of display outputs, this docking station also provides a whole host of extra ports. There are four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports in the rear and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports in the front. Also in the front is a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Going back to the rear, you'll have the aforementioned display outputs, as well as a USB Type-C charging port and a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 LAN jack.

On top of that this dock uses the latest USB C technology which is extremely fast! I love the ability to have extra USB 3.0 ports and earphone ports on the front of the dock. I am currently using this with a HP laptop, but it looks like it is universal and can be used with any brand. Definitely a great alternative to the expensive OEM docking stations! 5
