[8.2 x 2 x 0.6"] I needed a fluid head for video and for binoculars/spotting scope. This head does that. It's light weight and works.

[Aluminum] Maybe a tad pricey for what it is, but it sits well above its competition. I've had numerous 501-to-Arca adapters in my life and this is the best one I've used. Very solid and well built, the tightening knob on the Arca Swiss plate is comfortable to tighten. It's the most versatile one as well because you can rotate the Arca adapter from horizontal to vertical orientation, so it fits both L-bracket style Arca plates but also vertical Arca Swiss QR plates a lot of 15mm LWS kits are using nowadays. Don't second guess it, just get it.

[8.2 x 2 x 0.6"] The PolarPro Base plate is great to have and at an affordable price. I have used the original screw on Polar Pros and it was just to time consuming to have to unscrew them and put them on another lens or having to buy multiple ND's I now have these magnetic plates on all my lenses and this has been a life saver because I just leave then on all the time.

[Aluminum] I bought this for use on a Sony FX-1, so I could mount a wireless receiver and a stereo mic on top (my set-up for weddings and the like). These in turn plug into an external mic mixer mounted underneath the camcorder. Previously, I only had room on the shoe for one item. I had to mount the microphone up top, and carry the receiver on my belt, or fasten it to the tripod with Velcro. These options didn't appeal to me, but I was resigned to them. Then I saw this device from Rycote that answered everything. It fastens to the cold shoe mount on the FX-1 at a 90 degree angle and adds 10 inches of holding capacity. It even has a little room left over for a small video light. It's quite well made. The downside, however, is twofold; 1. It's a bit pricey, and 2. I didn't think of it first. Considering the problem it solved, I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

[Aluminum] Sort of upset, but it works as it should. I bought a polarpro vnd a little over a month ago, thought it was compatible with the helix system, but it isn't and now it's too late to return. So I don't have a magnetic filter system on my lens and also don't have a filter to go on my magnetic system...because my pieces are incompatible. Also bought a regular threaded UV which I thought would also be compatible. So I just wasted a lot of money :(

[Black] I use this for my 7D. I have a H4n and a Rode shotgun mic on it. It works fantastic. It is light and durable. However, due to its length if you're using it on the camera without a shoulder rig, it becomes quite a handful. But put the camera on the tripod and it looks quite organized.

[Black] So, I've had this shoulder rig for a few days now. I've been using it with my Komodo, Raptor, FX3, and FX6. The shoulder rig has performed flawlessly. It's crazy how compact this thing is too. I thought this shoulder rig was made out of plastic (based on the photos on the website), but I was wrong. This thing is heavy (that's a good thing) and solid metal. Not sure what kind of metal but this is beastly. I've very happy with this purchase. This entire rig is easily configured to just about any video use.

[Black] I purchased 3 clamps for use in my studio. I am located an hour away from Toronto Canada. Delivery was fast only a few days. Even with the exchange rate on our dollar still well worth it. Very well made and sturdy to handle most lights and softboxes. My only regret I should have got them years ago. I made do with cheap plastic clamps. would definitely recommend them.
