This transmitter adds onto the IOGEAR Long Range Wireless 4K Video Kit, allowing it to take advantage of Switch Mode. With Switch Mode, the video transmission system's receiver can switch between the audio and video sent from this transmitter and up to 9 others. Through its HDMI port, transmitted video quality can vary from 640 x 480 to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. USB Type-A, IR, and RS-232 ports add the ability for the receiver to control the connected component or PC.

[Auto-Detect] Works better than expected. Actually just plugged in the sending unit to the source and the receiving unit to the tv and it worked almost immediately. Distance about 50', sending unit is inside a cabinet with wood doors (no glass at all) and there is one thick wall between source and tv. Great product... just wish you could hook up additional receivers for other tvs to the same source, apparently it just supports one receiver. 5

[1.67 lb] This thing is not only bullet proof and driver free, it has an excellent image quality. A great solution for the "TV on the wall, but the table is in the middle of the room" conference room problem. No wires! 5

[1.67 lb] I install this in our conference room and is sitting above the ceiling tiles attached to our Projector. Even above the tiles it works with my laptop anywhere in the room and has no lag that I can see. The best part is you do not have to install any software because it simply extends your HDMI. I did have to get a mini HDMI for it to work with my Lenovo Laptop. 5

[1.67 lb] This IOGear set was suggested for my application by a B&H video expert during an online chat on their site. I called IOGear tech support in SoCal and quickly got answers to a few more application questions, and then ordered from B&H. It replaced an ActionTec 1080P set which caused much frustration. This set performs flawlessly. Plus, now I have the capability to add more receivers. Thanks for the recommendation. 5
