A: The tripod plate for the Prompter People HD-500 100mm Fluid Tripod Head will need to be obtained directly from Prompter People.

Q: 3. Does this handle work with tripods that don't already have a handle? I want to attach it to where the pan lock knob on my tripod screws in.

A: This pan bar only works with the 500HLV or a tripod that has a similar gear size to attach it to. Itried to attach this pan bar to a 502 HD Manfrotto fluid head and the gear/teeth on the pan bar for the 500 HLV is actually smaller and will not hold in place. Hope this helps.

A: We are not aware that it would, as this is specifically designed for compatibility with the ArrowX heads series and we could not find a telescoping pan bar handle for the DS20.

A: No it won't. The rosette is way too small and the teeth won't line up. The correct arm is MVAPANBARM.

[Black] I use this product with my tripod and the new look is nice, firm and sturdy. What's good about this product is that it's not to bulky and fits in my tripod bag with out me having to detach it from the head. 5

[Black] I needed a second handle, so now I have two on my Compass 15 tripod head. It is easier to control. I like it a lot, but it is very expensive for what it is. It was extremely difficult to remove the plastic cap on the left side of the tripod to allow the handle to attach. Called Miller support mulitple times. Turns out you have to use a steel rod and hit it out with a hammer!! Crazy!! For such a delicate piece of superb engineering, it seems crazy to HIT it with a HAMMER!! But it worked. 5

[1.425 lb] self-explanatory well built accessory. pro- long handle section above the grip, but below the extension release clamp: this allows good placement of various Varizoom zoom & focus controls. con- they could be cheaper. it gets pricey spending almost $400 to extend both handles of a single dual handle video head. We just spent a lot on extension pan handles. 5
