A: No it does not Tone and line test only It works great for that application

Q: 9. How does this work with the Meade LX 600 12”? Would it be too much? I would like to do planetary photography with either a Nikon D750 or a Nikon Z6. Thanks

A: This would work with the LX600,but might be very dark/distorted. You can definitely try it with the Scope. The View just might be a little grainy due to the high magnification.

[0 to 95% ()] The Televue 2 2X Powermate is a well-built item, as expected for Televue. Compared to a standard barlow, the Powermate delivers better off-axis correction, making it more suitable for imaging. For visual use, the Powermate pretty much disappears and the observer just enjoys the greater magnification. 5

[ABS Plastic] I used the Tele Vue 2x Powermate to image the planets, as well as doing some visual observing. As usual, Tele Vue optics never disappoint! Highly recommend this great addition to your eyepiece line up! 5

[0.1 lb] I've had a cat for nearly a decade and lent it out to someone on my last show and it went missing. Then I got call for a Grammys show for the next day. Well, B&H's super fast shipping and excellent care got me through build and tech with this great item. Oh yeah, the cat is super useful. $400bucks is nothing in the terms of the aggrevation it'll save you. 5

[0.1 lb] Utilized for POE cameras and the location had closed off ceilings with no struck space we utilized these little devils to split 1 camera that was not getting the coverage we needed into 2 cameras. They even work on the built in poe ports on standalone NVRs which is really handy. Seamless use so far. Seems to be a great product. I have already recommended to my colleague and they are getting some. He said to me "This is exactly what I needed" 5

[0.1 lb] Does just what it says on the tin - makes any eyepiece you have put out 4X the magnification. I can't see any degradation of the image quality when the Powermate is in place. Big and fairly expensive, but worth it in my opinion. 5

[ABS Plastic] Works great, beautifully made. it's Tele Vue. Heavy, four elements. Great performance comes at a price in weight. My Vixen SXD2 GEM is a bit too wobbly for my astro-photo set up. The Powermate is excellent, but it contributes to my weight problem. 5

[ABS Plastic] Works beautifully with my 115mm refractor + diagonal; am unable to obtain focus without diagonal. Top notch optics for both eyepiece observation and photo imaging with my DSLRs. 5
