The small HoldFast Gear MoneyMaker 3-Camera Harness Black Smallfrom HoldFast Gear MoneyMaker 3-Camera Harness Black Smallis made from U.S. native steer hides, with anchored stainless steel D-rings, rust-resistant hardware, and safety straps for ultimate security. These features plus its versatile design make it an essential tool for the modern photographer.

The bottom side has a suede-like feel and will shed a little at first use. This stops very quickly, and you can run your hand along the length of the strap to remove any loose shavings. The bottom side is also colorless so it won't bleed onto your clothing.

HoldFast Gear uses real full grain leathers. As such, each hide will display the unique life that the animal lived and your harness straps may exhibit scars from brands, barbed-wire cuts, stretch marks, insect bites, marks from birthing, and natural creases.

Fit is based on height and broadness. The ideal carrying position of the MoneyMaker is for the strap to fall about 4-5" below the armpit so the cameras stay high on your body.

Small: Height of 5'7" and below; if you are broad/built, size up

Medium: Height between 5'8"-6'2"; if you are slender, size down, broad or built, size up

Large: Height of 6'3" and above OR wear extra-large clothing; if you are slender, size down

Optimum fit will ensure the most comfort long term. If the MoneyMaker is worn too loose it causes the cameras to swing and sway too much, which puts pressure on your lower back and the straps tend to move and slip more. When worn properly, the MoneyMaker will be anchored to the body and actually help correct poor shooting posture by pulling your shoulders upright and back, keeping you and your cameras in line. So when the main straps are around 4" below the arm pit area, this will place the clip that attaches to the camera right around your waist line. There should be a good amount of arm bend when your hand is on the camera at resting position.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How easy is it to photograph if i were to use the Holdfast with my Canon 70-200 mounted to the Tripod collar ( assuming its a heavy lens and i dont want to stress the mount ) ?? A greater portion of the camera should jut out behind the strap once its mounted onto the tripod collar and i was hence wondering if it would protrude much more against my chest and prove difficult while holding against the viewfinder.

A: I honestly don't see the HF MM helping in that situation. The moment you raise the camera from your body, it is no longer being pulled down by gravity so the HF really is not helping. I could be wrong, though.

Q: 2. Is this the updated version with the updated sliders?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 3. What is the difference between the $179 vs $230?

A: Hi--the $230 item has black hardware, while the $179 item has silver hardware.

Q: 4. Does it come with the camera plates or rings, or do those need to be purchased separately?

A: It comes with 2 Holdfast Accessory Clips to hold cameras.

Q: 5. Could this hold a Sony A9 with the new 200-600 lens?

A: This harness can accommodate a A9 with a Sony FE 200-600mm lens attached using the tripod collar of the lens. However, we recommend supporting the lens by hand whenever possible due to the length of the barrel.

Q: 6. would it be suitable for use by someone short like myself? im 164cm tall.

A: Yes this harness can fit an individual that is 5'3" or 164 cm tall.

Q: 7. What is the difference in the sizes?

A: The Money Maker website has the information. SMALL= Height of 5'7 (170 cm) and below (if you are broad/built then size up)MEDIUM= Height between 5'8 -6'2 (173 - 188 cm) (if you are slender then size down, broad or built size up)LARGE= Height of 6'3 (191 cm) and above OR wear extra large clothing (if you are slender then size down)

Q: 8. Does this model of the Money Maker have the new slide mechanism like on Holdfast's website? Or is it the older round sliders?

A: Yes this model has the most current slide mechanism.

Q: 9. His do you have the buffalo leather holdfast harness in a burgundy ? That’s for the water buffalo leather

A: I'm sorry, no, we don't have this model in burgundy.

Q: 10. Has this product been updated to include Cream glove leather lining and have all black hardware as depicted on the Hold Fast website ?

A: Sadly no. I even called to confirm it had black rings and rivets. They said yes. They shipped me the chrome one. I tried to send it back but they didnt take it. Money maker wont exchange it because its an older model.

[Leather] Very ergonomic, quality made, looks sharp, does the job. Worked well to hold to camera bodies with large lenses and attached flashes.

[Leather] I'll cut to the chase. I love this harness and I am not a wedding photographer. I shoot lots of rodeo and outdoor equine events. My setup is a D800 with Battery grip and a 24mm and a D850 with battery grip and a Sigma 135mm or 70-200mm. Not a lightweight setup. I don't like carrying a camera bag and I need to move fast along with being past 60 with a bad back. I tried other setups and had cameras flying and a sore neck. This rig works great provided you take the time to set it up. Watch the videos and do it right. It fits perfectly I can carry it for hours without back or neck pain and my cameras are always within reach. The leather, hardware, and workmanship are all top-notch, I'm a horse tack snob and this passes my test, it will last a lifetime. I made a few non-permanent changes so I could use peak design fasteners. The hardware included is bombproof and along with the included safety straps ends any worry of dropping a camera. I have no regrets and I'm sorry I waited so long to buy it, oh and it looks great too.

[Bridle Black] Ii was covering an outdoor track meet with two cameras when I noticed a pro photographer using this harness. I ordered it the next day and will never use two individual straps again. This is so comfortable, does not tangle up, and each camera is instantly available. Best accessory I've bought in years!

[Leather] Fantastic quality. Solid and comfortable. The cameras are so much easier to wear (distributed weight not killing your neck), speedy to access. Glad I purchased this.
