Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this work with the black magic micro cinema camera???

A: Yes, the Kingston 512GB Canvas Select Plus UHS-I SDXC Memory Card would be supported when using the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera.

Q: 2. How many minutes of raw video can you shoot with the Kingston 128 GB card?

A: It depends on the camera that you are using and also the frame rate selected. On the Canon R5 at 8K Raw you can record 6 minutes of video on a 128GB card. I would also recommend getting a faster CFExpress type B card for the Canon R5, because Raw needs a very fast card. A V30 SD card would drop frames as it is not fast enough depending on the camera that you are using and the bit rate used.

Q: 3. Canon 5D mark iv compatible

A: Yes, the Kingston 256GB Canvas Select Plus UHS-I SDXC Memory Card is compatible with DSLRs such as the Canon 5D Mark IV.

Q: 4. i have a question about the kingston 256 gb does it work with the sony fx3 , and suppose i buy 2 of how many minutes can i film in each mode Flexible ISO, Cine EI Quick, and Cine EI.

A: There are many factors that affect the number of minutes you can record video, but if you are recording 4K, you would probably be able to record 30 minutes or more.

Q: 5. does it work with a canon c100 mark II ?

A: Yes, this card is compaitble with the Canon C100 Mark II.

Q: 6. what is the warranty?

A: The Kingston 256GB Canvas Go! Plus UHS-I microSDXC Memory Card has a Lifetime Warranty.

Q: 7. Does this work with the original BMPCC?

A: We are sorry to say that Blackmagic does not have an up to date list with the current selection of SD Cards on the market to determine what does and does not work with the original Pocket Cinema Camera. This may work, but we are not aware of any specific tests that have been done with it.

Q: 8. is the kingston 256g v90 on sony a7iv at 4k 30p or 4k 60p does it have any heat issue

[exFAT] Works in OG BMPCC and cheap enough to buy a few. I don't like to write over work for a month or two so I can afford to have several.

[Yes] You know, I've always considered Kingston to be the second tier SD card provider, but, they're getting better. I took a chance on these Select Plus cards for a special purpose. It's tough to find the right reader and computer to really tell what speeds a card can reach. I'm getting 90MB/s READ and 72MB/s WRITE on these with a Sony reader and a normal Dell desktop (USB3); impressive for how cheap they are. They have been in two Browning game cameras capturing wildlife, 24/7, at freezing temps, and have dozens of gigs of capture with not a problem. Probably be buying some more.

[V10] I bought this specifically for high bandwidth video recoding on the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) in CinemaDNG Raw at 1080P 30fps. Many cards only list the read speed up to xxxMB/s, but they don't tell you the write speed which is critical for raw video recording. This card is comparable in performance to the much more expensive Scandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s SD cards. And I can confirm it works properly with the original BMPCC, which is very picky about which SD card it supports.

I used Blackmagic Disk Speed Test on Macbook Pro to test the read and write speed of this particular card, and here are the results averaged over multiple runs:

- Write speed: 83.6MB/s
- Read speed: 89.0MB/s

I shot video at 1080p30 Cinema DNG Raw in the BMPCC OG and there seems to be no missing frames so far. I plan to buy more of these cards for my longer video features.

Overall a highly recommended product for these type of high bandwidth HD video needs.
