Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. is this mount for mamiya sekor c lenses ?

A: This adapter is for Mamiya Sekor lenses with a 645 mount.

Q: 2. The FotodioX Mamiya ZE Pro Lens Adapter with Aperture Control for Nikon F-Mount Cameras also serves the CS series Mamiya NC1000s?

A: This adapter is not compatible with the Mamiya NC1000S. This adapter is meant to mount Mamiya ZE lenses on a Nikon F mount camera.

Q: 3. Can the Fotodiox Pro Lens Mount be used on a Mamiya m645 1000s specifically. I need an answer on the 1000s, not generally M645 mount, because the self timer may get in the way with not enough clearance?

A: Yes you can use this lens adapter with the 1000s. it will not be blocked by the self timer.

Q: 4. Can I use this adaptor with the Leaf Aptus-ii back on Ebony 4x5 camera?

A: Technically if the Ebony 4x5 camera which I am unfamiliar with has a Graflok Rear Standard a Leaf Aptus II back for Mamiya 645 will attach.

Q: 5. will it join my h3d 39 back with my cambo sc?

A: Yes, it is compatible with the Hasselblad h3d 39 back.

Q: 6. Does this adapter have a tripod mount? Some photos look like there might be one.

A: Yes, the FotodioX Mamiya 645 Pro Lens Adapter for Fujifilm X-Mount Cameras does have a tripod foot.

Q: 7. May I know is the Tripod mount removable for this adapter?

A: The tripod foot on the FotodioX Mamiya 645 Lens to Fujifilm G-Mount Camera Pro Lens Mount Adapter cannot be removed.

Q: 8. Do you have to apply a crop factor with this in place? For instance, does the 80mm becomes a 135mm?

A: No. The focal length of any lens never changes. So enjoy the quality of Mamiya glass, the product is well made and won't ruin lens mounts. You won't notice any difference when you shoot (except sometimes a heavier lens). So looking through an 80mm Nikon lens on a Nikon SLR/DSLR body is the same as an 80mm Mamiya lens or any other 80mm lens. What changes is the area the lens will cover. Since it covers an area 6cm X 4.5cm, and you are using it on a 'smaller' format, it more than covers 35mm film (3.5 cm X 2.4 cm) or Nikon's FX sensor (3.6 cm X 2.4 cm) or Nikon's DX sensor (2.4 cm X 1.6 cm).You would have trouble if you tried to use it on a 'larger' format e.g. 4 X 5 film would give huge vignetting (but a nice 3 X 3 crop). If you do the maths, the lens has a 'circle' of (at least) diameter 7.5 cm to 8.5 cm to cover 6 cm X 4.5 cm film.

Q: 9. Does it include a dark slide for the focusing screen? The focusing screen will draw in light leaks when in a certain position.

A: The FotodioX Pro Hasselblad H Large Format 4x5 Adapter does not included a dark slide. The way the adapter slides the digital back over it blocks any light leaks.

Q: 10. Will this work on 645d? With mamiya 645m lenses?

A: This adapter allows your 645 manual lenses to fit a Pentax digital or film body

[Brass] I've bought many Fotodiox products in the past and I've never had an issue with any of them. Same with this adapter - pretty solid, fits well and works as described.

[11.9 x 6.1 x 1"] The build quality of mine (M645-to-Nik) was first class. No play at all... the adapter attached to the back of the lens with no tightness or looseness whatsoever... just a satisfying and reassuring click when engaged or disengaging the adapter.

The Mamiya 645 telephoto lens I’m using on my Nikon 600 is pretty hefty (the 120mm f4 macro) and I had no hesitation is letting that puppy dangle from the full frame body. This adapter is solid.

[Brass] I have to say that the M645N lenses that I have fit securely onto the adapter without any wobble or movement. The focus ring on my lenses was a bit stiff from lack of recent use however even the expected drag when rotating the focus ring did not produce any movement in either the Pentax K mount or the attached M645N lenses. Fitting was secure and wobble-free, this is a quality product with exact tolerances and great build quality - I also like the fact that the Mamiya lenses attach to the external bayonet fitting as they would on the M645 camera, that is with the lens flanges secured behind the mount - unlike some other adapters on the market - thereby resulting in the aforementioned secure fitting. Highly recommended although I have only used this (so far) on my APS-C camera bodies and have yet to use it on the K1 for some 45 'megapixelshift' resolution goodness !

[Brass] I bought it to mount Mamiya 645 manual lenses to my Fuji GFX 50R . It works very well. It is just a hollow  tube with no electrical or mechanical connections between camera and lens. It is very well made and heavy. Weighs about 8 ounces.

[11.9 x 6.1 x 1"] Very useful tool. I have a large selection of Mamiya prime lenses which are optically far superior to most 35mm/APS lenses. Along with a soft focus, this is just an amazing lens in itself. Please be very careful with this adapter, nothing wrong with it, but the Mamiya lenses are very heavy and place stress on the Pentax bodies. The bodies were not engineered for this weight, nor should they have been. Everything is manual, so slow down and enjoy the experience.

[11.9 x 6.1 x 1"] It works really great on my NIKON Z5. I'm going through all my old Mamiya 645 lens and shooting a lot. I'm keeping the good ones and selling a few. I'm saving money by not buying all new and making some money by selling some. Using manual mode on the Z5 works really well. Using manual mode on my D7100 does not work as well, more guessing on the right settings.

[1.65 lb] This is a barebones way to put a Mamiya 645 lens on a Fujifilm X series camera. I was afraid it wouldn't adapt the lenses from my 645 1000S, but it did, and it works like a charm! No circuitry for autofocus or zoom, and the rig is humorously large, but I'm getting great images. Perfect for those willing to devote themselves to a fully manual shooting experience. Fits right, and works as it should!
