The Avenger G200-1 Empty Sandbag (22 lb)is made of durable black nylon and features a saddlebag design that makes it easy to drape over stand legs or booms. The bag holds up to 22 lb of sand in its two compartments, has a touch fastener closure, and ships empty to allow you to fill it with any weighted material of choice. The bag has a D-ring at each end for use with a hook.

A: Not sure what you mean by box dimensions but the order came in a small bag. All 6 are empty and folded. They altogether measure @ 5' (thickness of all 6) x 13 x 9 , unfilled. How much sand you need to fill the bags depends on how much weight you are trying to hold in place. There should be a formula for this somewhere.. now I need a trip to the beach!

Q: 4. Would there be a reason I wouldn't want water repellent sand bags? The nonwater repellent sand bags are only $2 cheaper... wish I could get the water repellent ones in black but other than that is there any other reasoning?

A: If you will always be working away from water, such as in a studio environment, then the non-water repellent sand bags would be fine. However, it doesn't hurt that extra sense of security in case the bags happen to get wet,

[Hook & Loop] Great to buy it like this as its empty so its easy to transport when you buy it and if you're relocatiing. it also encourages you to go to the beach to fill it up - which has got to be good! Also you can control how heavy you make it. You dont have to fill it up completely! 5

[0.895 lb] This is a great product. All you have to do is add the amount of sand you prefer to get the weight right and your ready to work. Heavy material that is built to last...no Sun rot here. This product will last a lifetime. Made simple to fill, then sew the two inches shut. Great visible alert color. Can be used for many applications. 5

[Nylon] I needed to purchase more sandbags and had to find a replacement company since Digital Juice is no longer in business (Top Quality Digital Juice Bags btw). [Nylon] I brought these bags to put on my century stand and they hold 6 500ml water bottles they don't need sand. Very helpful 5

[Hook & Loop] I use these sandbags primarily to weigh down my tripod so it doesn't lift up off the riser. I use slingshot ammo or ball bearings to fill the bags. Works well. I haven't had a camera fall out of a window, yet... 5

[0.895 lb] I filled (self-provided) zip-lock bags with shot, and then sealed 'em in the Impact Saddle bags. No fear of shot escaping (and the zip-locks should prevent rust in cast the bag gets wet). You can load these with more than 5 lbs of shot (mine are about 6.5 lb each... I have no fear of the zippers failing. Excellent product 5
