[T2.8] Had one of these for my Canon M mount system. Just had to have for my new RF systems also. Need to practice how to trigger camera so you are NOT part of the shot.

[13] Conversion with supplied EF mount was not too difficult. Fit is perfect. Love this affordable option for shooting anamorphic. Ordered the Laowa Venus 1.33x front anamorphic adapter to get a 2x squeeze out of it. Because of the availability delay on the adapter I can't report on the two together yet. But at a 1.5x squeeze I'm pretty impressed. Every review on youtube has been pretty spot on so no need to repeat it here.

[1.5x] Alright, this is my first anamorphic and cinema lens. I went back and forth for about a year on what would be my first cinema lens and i went this route based on the few videos i have seen on youtube. I'm not a professional in the filmmaking world (trying though) however I know quality and art when I see it. There's not a lot of info on these, and after figuring out how to monitor them correctly, and color grade the footage (I have a canon r5c and use final cut to grade them) I tossed it up on my big screen TV and was shook... i dont know if BH will take this down but here is some test footage and a quick color grading.

[Yes] When I saw the output from this lens, I almost cried. The images are simply mindblowing. The bokeh is pure cinema, the flairs are dazzling yet not gaudy, the sense of presence is incredible, and the color and clarity are perfect.

I thought the price was extreme at first for the m43 system. Then I realized the lens really is on a whole other level. It is a piece of art that makes art.

I've ordered tens of thousands of dollars worth of gear at BH. I've never written a review. But this lens deserves to be known and celebrated.

[13] Great fun, huge field of view and no more distortion that a fisheye inevitably has. Worth even the full price. Just remember to keep your own thumbs and shoes out of the picture! (Others have complained that grips and batteries intrude - that’s a feature of a 210 degree coverage, not a bug - you can’t blame the lens for the not overriding the laws of optics!)

[13] I am truly amazed by the images these lenses can produce for the price and size! If you are looking for lenses that don't look sterile and have some character to them without having to sell all your possessions to afford them, then these are absolutely the lenses for you!

[55 mm] This thing is sharp at t2 which is not common amongst anamorphic lenses. Paired with a z cam e2, black magic 4K or GH5 and you have a killer anamorphic setup for an affordable price. Well built and a ton of fun to use.

[1.445 lb] These lenses have a constant 1.5x squeeze factor, which gives consistent results across the entire focus range and makes for reliable de-squeezing in post. Other affordable Anamorphic lens brands do not have a constant squeeze factor. This lens is clean with minimal chromatic aberration only at the very lowest T-stop. It is incredibly lightweight which is useful in run and gun productions. I cant speak for the PL mount, as those may have a bit more heft to them. Flaring is very gentle on the silver version and slightly more aggressive on the blue and amber versions. You cant go wrong with this lens. See attached example.

[Canon RF] This lens is nothing short of amazing. Sharp - even wide open, at 2.8/4 you wouldn’t want the image any sharper.
Flare is beautiful, squeeze and bokeh looks amazing...
A real anamorphic lens for this price - paired with a Blackmagic pocket 4K - it’s an amazing combo ! My favorite - personally.
Check out “anamorphia” by make art now, we shot all the anamorphic scenes with it.

[13] Ive used the 27mm for a while and was convinced I needed something a bit closer for my kit. Great tool to have and compliments the the other lenses as well for both my Komodo and R5C! Very little distortion, barely any breathing and the silver flare is not obnoxious! Recommend these lenses as they are small and light and great intro to the bigger and beefier vintage anamoprhics.
