A: It certainly does! The metal base is very sturdy... we have a standard SM57 style mic that lives on the stand as our talkback mic for VO tracking. Weve been very happy with the purchase.

A: It is adjustable. Maximum extension from center vertical pole to end of leg is radius about 10.5 Mine is quite sturdy even adjusted to 9.5 radius.

A: The laptop tray on the PLPTS55 can be turned left and right or raised up higher, but the angle of the tray is not adjustable.

[13.39 lb] Appleboxes are already amazingly useful but add this and not only will you gain comfort and storage but youll make everyone jealous in the process. Amazing little cushion and holder to have, I have no idea what the other reviewers are complaining about. The cover is made to be snug! You need to slip it on evenly, but its been a non issue me for me after several uses. Just use your head. 5

I tried to use it in the car and it did make me a little too tall, but it might work for someone shorter. It also doesnt slip around on the chair which is nice! 5
