The Elation Proteus Brutus LED Wash 1200Wan extremely bright IP65 rated LED Wash F/X fixture offering high-intensity wash and effects qualities in any environment. Providing up to 70.000 lumens from its custom-designed 1200W Peak Field LED engine the Proteus Brutus is the ideal fixture for any outdoor application requiring superior output, bright and powerful wash, quiet operation as well as stunning colors and effects.

Proteus Brutus provides the designer with a comprehensive F/X package with six rotating glass gobos, an animation wheel, frost, and a high-speed Iris. Its optional indexable framing system provides full blackout shutter cuts for precise beam shape control. With a fast zoom range from 5 to 50° and an impressive 220mm front lens, the Proteus Brutus has the power to cut through at great distances in any outdoor concert or special event, and with its fully dust and waterproof design, it is an ideal fixture for theme parks and cruise ships or any application that benefits from its sealed IP65 housing.

A: This is not compatible with the Litepanels Wireless DMX Communications Module for Gemini B&H # LI9003601.

Q: 9. Is this unit capable of properly dimming LED bulbs?

A: The Elation Professional CyberPak Dimmer Power Pack (B&H# ELCYBERPACK) is capable of dimming dimmable LED lamps (also known as bulbs) properly. The first person to answer this question mentioned LED dummies (i.e. adding a small load on the circuit to drain the capacitors/transformers) and also that the LEDs won't flicker when off, suggesting that they could flicker when on. To clarify, since LED dummies would only be needed if your LEDs aren't going completely black as quickly as you want when you dim to zero or shut off the circuit. If you are experiencing trouble with LED flicker then you will want to use them at full power or invest in LEDs that can handle this type of dimmer or switch to an LED dimmer.

Q: 10. Are you able to utilize both 3pin and 5pin outputs at the same time?

A: No. Unit will only transmit To Multiple Receivers On Same Radio Channel. Supporting Up To (15) DMX-512 Universes(15) Radio Channels only on1 DMX universe per channel.

[140 lb] I'm an educator for a college campus that advises student organizations and make A/V equipment available to them. Easy setup is CRUCIAL for this. This product was out of the box and setup in my office within minutes and was INTUITIVE! I was able to get the sound activated pulsation to work with just the speakers from my computer! [16-Bit] I have used this system only 5 times so far but all 5 times I still am amazed at brightness and quality of the system! I was able to replace 4 of my old par38 four light systems with 2 T-par systems. I place this in the middle between our front monitors for our 5 piece band and shine each light on individual members of the band. Since the stand is black no one seems to mind that's in front of and just off center of the drummer so each member is visible completely. VERY bright and nicely saturated colors. Easy to use remote because I am a lead man and can change from static to sound activated for Hot sections of songs. I will also be using this system for my DJ / Karaoke shows. If you are running a large show or very large venues you probably would need 4 but for small to medium venues 2 parz system does the job nicely. I link them together with a 3 pin DMX cable and 1 remote runs the show! MY ONLY GRIPE IS THE STAND BAGS SUCK BAD, ZIPPER BROKE AND BAG RIPPED ON SECOND GIG! I would advise a heavy duty dual bag no more that 50 and less than 47 LIFE IS EASY! 5

[1x Power Cable] I bought two of these. They have a lot of nice features and are easily set up. I got one hung and it worked perfectly, although for our stage it was a pretty wide wash. We may put barn doors on it. We have about a 24’ throw from that position. For the other light, we accidentally put it through an abuse test. It got dropped from a 12’ height onto a concrete floor. The lens broke into several pieces and a two inch chunk of the metal case broke off. Amazingly enough, we put in the second lens and it worked fine. No LED or circuitry failure. Very tough little light. We are going to use it until it chooses to fail. 5
