Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it compatible With Roland V-1HD Switcher?

A: Unfortunately, we can not confirm compatibility of the Hollyland Wireless Tally System (4 Tally Lights) with the Roland V1-HD. However, another solution that does work is the following system from Cerevo. Cerevo FlexTally Wireless Tally Lamp System BH #CECDPFT01B • MFR #CDP-FT01B. Q: 2. Will this controller work with the Birddog X1?

A: The BZBGEAR Universal Compact Serial and IP PTZ Camera Joystick Controller can control the BirdDog X1 PTZ Camera via Serial RS-232 or RS-485.

Q: 3. Can you record in 4k and feed sdi in 1080p?

A: No, Once the BZBGear Live Streaming 4K PTZ Camera's resolution is set to 4k all the outputs SDI and HDMI would be the same resolution and framerate.

Q: 4. 1) Would I be able to RTMP stream to YouTube (etc) and transmit NDI/HX over my 10 GbE network? 2) Is there any additional licensing cost to using NDI/HX out of the box? Thanks, this looks perfect for our needs.

A: 1) This camcorder can only stream via 1 protocol at a time. What most customers do when using a camera like this is they use NDI to send the video to their switcher across a local network and then the switcher is in charge of streaming out to YouTube via RTMP. (switcher can either be hardware like a NewTek Tricaster or software such as Vmix, Wirecast, or OBS) 2) there is no additional licensing cost for accessing NDI. I hope it works out for you!

Q: 5. Does this come with a wall mount?

A: The BZBGear 1080p HDMI/SDI/USB Live Streaming PTZ Camera does not come with a wall mount.

Q: 6. Hi, this works for the OBSBOT Tail AIR?

A: According to OBSBOT the OBSBOT Tail Air AI-Powered PTZ Streaming Camera, BH #OBOWBTAAIPTZ, does work with VISCA controls over LAN. The BZBGEAR Universal Compact Serial and IP PTZ Camera Joystick Controller does offer VISCA over LAN, meaning they should be compatible.

Q: 7. POE?

A: The BZBGear Live Streaming 4K NDI PTZ Camera with Tally Lights & 25x Optical Zoom (White) has support for POE (power over ethernet).

Q: 8. will this support ndi hx3?

A: The BZBGear Live Streaming 4K NDI PTZ Camera with Tally Lights & 25x Optical Zoom (Black) (B&H# BZA4KND25XB) is compatible with up to version 4.0 of NDI | HX. That includes all earlier versions such as NDI | HX 3.0.

A: Yes, the Hollyland Wireless Tally System (8 Tally Lights) will work with Blackmagic Atem switchers using RJ-45 network cable.

Q: 10. Will this work with BMD atem hd8? Thanks

[f/1.61 to 5.19] We have five of the new Move 4K cameras (though only the one 12x was purchased from B&H). We're a 6G shop and use the BMD 4K HDMI TO 6G SDI mini converters to bring 4K into Vmix very successfully. We keep one of these in every camera case for non PTZ cameras too because all of our current cameras send 4K out of the HDMI connection only and we have long cable runs.

We love these cameras. The new sensors make great images and at their price point we can buy more cameras than we would otherwise be able to do.

[25x] Realizing the hybrid office is here to stay, I designed a home office wanting to have pro-grade gear like our office-office conference rooms. The Rally Camera has been a flawless addition, allowing me to be fully present from any spot in my home office large room; and to position the camera so I'm always speaking directly to my colleagues / interviewees with good eye contact and no nostril cam.

[PoE 802.3af] Using this camera for a remote video production. Shooting at 4K 30fps. Great quality, sensor is decent and superior to competition at this price range.

We tested it against other options and the video quality is superior.

Remote production made easy, great interface, company keeps upgrading software which makes it straightforward to overcome challenges.

Size of this camera surprised me, a bit larger than I expected. This is not a toy, it's a real camera.

[7.1 to 171.9mm] I did a comprehensive review on YouTube going through the UI, Testing NDI latency, low light etc.

I've use this with Sony PXW-Z90v cameras (also a 1 sensor)

Pros:
4k
NDI requires just ONE cable!
Image Quality is better than the Sony PXW-Z90v (in low light)
Works with eCamm Live (Mac) via NDI (plug and play)
only 3 frame latency with NDI
Fine motor movements
Works with Mac Safari Browser
Has XLR Inputs

Cons:
I wish these devices had a camcorder battery (I could rig this to be totally wireless)
Does not have full NDI, so it isn't compatible with the Birddog Flex
Initial setup is confusing
Does not come with a lens cap (be careful when transporting) - two can fit in a Pelican 1637 case.

If you want to use NDI with the ATEM or any other HDMI based switcher, you should get the Magewell Pro Convert NDI to HDMI adaptor here at BH Photo.

My use case:
I put this in the center of a dining area for a fundraiser that provided almost 360 degrees of coverage without obstructing the views for the audience. I paired this with a Skaarhoj PTZ Pro controller.

Tip:
When you first plug it in via HDMI, you will need to set a username and password via the web browser before you can use the camera. You'll have to find the IP address!

I hope I can share the link to my overview video since it will give you a better perspective on all of the above! https://youtu.be/JTtYskJSrp4

[PoE 802.3af] We first purchased a datavideo box camera for the back of our sanctuary. That turned out to be a mistake and didn't look nearly as good as our other Cannon and Sony cameras. So, we decided to narrow our search to the two brands we were already working with. We wanted a reliable fallback shot of the center of the front of the room that would always be dependable. We also wanted a non-obtrusive, small, mountable format that could sit above the back doors, yet still capture a tight shot all the way in the front. This was the camera that finally delivered. Plenty of optical zoom to get just the shot we want, flexibility with the remote control features and scene recall, not bulky or distracting as people exit. The camera's horizontal viewing angle looks natural compared to our other PTZs and camcorders. (whereas the Srg-XP1 leans more toward fisheye) All around, very good. The only wish that wasn't fulfilled was SDI video out for our switcher. I chose to convert the HDMI to SDI because of the length of run, so we made it work. Love this camera!
