Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. The barrel of the 100-400 expands and contracts as the focal length is changed. What happens to the barrel cover when this is done?

A: The cover section for the extended barrel on the lens has velcro so you can easily remove it when you need to zoom in. This piece was designed to be used only when the lens is fully extended.

Q: 2. I ordered this for my 16-35 2.8L II Lens with PD-85 Port on a Delphin housing and the ring is very loose on my lens, there is no grip for zooming when in the case. Is this a faulty piece?

A: If you are installing the ring correctly and it is loose on your lens then you will need to speak with AquaTech directly for a resolution. Please email our customer support and they will be able to assist further than we can through this medium. You also need to make sure you are using the P-70ex with the PD-85 dome port for this lens.

Q: 3. will this fit for m1 model a2338?

A: Yes, it is compatible.

Q: 4. Is this true? there are 2 main problems: - the very end of the lens where it attaches to the camera is done as a steep cone, the piece that goes there doesn't stay in place and creates problem when you mount the lens; - the piece that goes on the extension works only with the lens fully extended, any focal length less than 500 you need to remove the cover.

A: Hi John, thank you for your feedback. I have to check the part closest to the body that does not stay in place. Once on the lens and on the body it stays in place I assume? The part on the extension is an 'extra' piece and yes it is correct that this part can only be used with the lens fully extended, if you use the zoom function that you cannot install this part. easyCover Team

Q: 5. can you access all focal lengths with the cover on?

A: Hi, yes, you can use all focal lengths with this cover on.

Q: 6. Fix the 150-600 sport series?

A: This is the SKU for the easyCover 150-600 Neoprene cover for the 150-600mm contemporary. For the sport, please see this item: https://bhpho.to/3HM2Xh1

Q: 7. Fit a 16" A2485?

A: This Moshi ClearGuard Keyboard Cover is not compatible with the A2485.

Q: 8. Does this cover protect against water and humidity?

A: easyCover claims its neoprene covers have water-resistant exteriors but does not comment on their protection against humidity. In our estimates, its resistance against humidity is minimal, and you would be better protected against it with desiccants in your carrying case such as these: https://bhpho.to/3kheI5X https://bhpho.to/3Epl4IF

Q: 9. Does the Neoprene cover interfere with the operation of the zoom lens?

A: The neoprene cover does not interfere with the operation of the zoom lens.

Q: 10. Is this cover easy to remove once applied?

A: Yes. You can remove the lens cover on this easyCover Lens Oak Neoprene Cover for Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS Lens (Green Camo).

[Handle] If you are in the market for a small binocular with top-of-the-line performance this, is it.

I have several old binoculars a Meade 7 x 50 porro, a Tasco 10 x 25 and Bushnell 10 X 25 and which like me were getting are old.

A friend recently became interested in bird watching and I did the research.  As I live in the Houston area and at the edges of both the Central and Mississippi migratory bird flyways in the U.S. and live on a large tract of land, I have the opportunity to see a lot of different birds.

As my old Meade was becoming harder to focus, I looked at the current market of ED binoculars and saw the Celestron NatureDX 8 X 42 model.  Like many reviews it is fantastic binocular.  I also decided to replace my small truck binoculars with something better than the Tasco 10 X 25 or the Bushnell and found the Hawk Vantage 8 X 32 model and I ordered it.  I also gave some thought to the Hawke Endurance ED model and almost sent an email to B & H to change out my order but I didn’t.

Upon arriving I did a comparison of the Celestron NatureDX against the Hawke Vantage.  I cannot see the difference between the two.  I can clearly see the difference between the Vantage the Tasco and the Bushnell. So, I drove out to the coast to look at the coastal shore birds.  The Vantage is a very good binocular.  It is lite, well built, easy to focus, very good light and for an eye glasses wearing person like me it has great eye relief.  I don’t see how the Vantage Endurance could be much better.

The Vantage is great binocular.

[Handle] This is an excellent 'scope for use with standard velocity 22 LR ammunition. Optical performance is excellent, hash marks on the etched glass reticle for hold over are clear and work well for longer shots once a 50 yard zero is obtained. This Hawke 'scope is a great value and as usual, best price and shipment was found at B&H.

[Black] Mounted this scope on my HW50S.  Its the perfect size and weight. The AO and ocular focus rings are very stiff, which I prefer since its less likely to shift during shooting sessions.  The optics are clear, and I love the Mil-Dot reticle.  The scope was very easy to zero.  My setup is to shoot 1 low at point blank, then knowing Im on paper to zero at 10 yards, and then fine tune zero at 20 yards.  Already gone thru a tin of pellets terrorizing soup and soda cans, and the zero hasnt changed. All-in-all, Id say that this is a really nice scope for the money.

[Empty] I put this scope on my Henry 22lr lever action scope and shoots perfectly. Has Green and Red Illumination for when you are shooting in low light conditions. highly recommend this for a 22lr rifle of any kind. Hawke makes some of the best scopes i have ever used, I won 9 Hawke scopes.

[Empty] My original scope was bundled with my rifle. It would not hold zero from day to day. This Hawke has been zeroed in once and it hasn't changed one iota! It makes shooting much more fun when you can actually hit what you're aiming at. I went with the 32 mm objective lens because I could use my existing rings. It fit perfectly and took all of 10 minutes to mount to the rifle. You can't go wrong with this IF it fits your application.

[Empty] This 4 power Hawke is a real “sleeper!”
I just put a 22 Magnum Barrel on my CZ455, since I don’t have anything in that caliber
I didn’t want to put much money in a scope as this was going to be a “beater” that I carried in the Swamp while on a boat.
A 4x with AO is unusual in that you usually get that on a variable power. I didn’t want too many functions, just a simple scope, but I would probably be shooting squirrels, rabbits, alligators, snakes, turtles: at ranges of 10 feet to a maximum of 100 yards.
And an Adjustable Onjective on a fixed power would be perfect.
I found it a balanced look, attached to the 3/8 dovetail on the CZ455. Not too big.
I was amazed at the clarity and light gathering of this $70 scope. And the AO was the icing on the cake. Easy to rotate and so I left it set at about 27 yards(most of my shots)
It was perfect! I was getting 3/4 inch groups with the CCI Gamepoint 40 grain. Leaning against a tree for a rest. WOW!
So I just ordered another one for my newly arrived Ruger RAR 22 Magnum in the black synthetic stock —a real “plain Jane” better suited for “in the boat” duty. (My CZ was bumped up to be my squirrel gun!
One of my Best Buys!!
Try one and you’ll see!
Mitch
