[Download] I was looking for a cheap scanner to have on hand for those few occasions I need to scan something. Don't use a scanner a lot so I didn't want to spend a lot but wanted something reliable from a brand I trust. So far, this scanner has worked perfectly. Easy to set up and use, easy to install utilities on my computer to get it to do what I want and the quality of the scans is good. So far, very happy with it. 5

I went through the various options, the Sennheiser MHK416 (which I still have - a great mic), the TLM-103, The Stellar X - I should have bought the U87 first. Clean, clear, picks up the dust falling on the floor if that's what you want. It's expensive. You get what you pay for. Absolutely wonderful professional microphone. 5

[Download] This mic is awesome. I additionally have a Sennheiser MKH416 which has better noise rejection. This Neumann condenser has a preferred frequency response. As a result, this mic is very well suited to live processing with an Apollo x8p or Twin X. I also have a few other mics, but this one is amazing! 5

[Download] Affordable scanners are hard to find these days. Canoscan Lide 400 is one of a very few options from major brands. I previously used an older Canoscan model and liked it a lot, but it’s no longer supported by the new MacOS. I wanted another Canon. The Lide 400 has performed flawlessly for me. It has all the functions that I need: scanning to multiple file formats at multiple resolutions. On the Mac you don’t even need to download the Canon driver or utility software. MacOS recognizes this scanner when you add a scanner. Then you can use the native MacOS Image Capture utility to do basic scanning. The scanner has a USB C port. The included cable is USB C to USB A. It works just fine. But I use my own USB C to C cable and the file transfer to my Mac is faster. All in all, I am very happy with the purchase and the experience with B&H as usual. 5

[Download] B&H had the best price for this target. Allows you to fine tune the focus on a flatbed scanner by using shims to adjust the distance to the lens. Lets you test the accuracy of your auto focus. Lets you determine the actual resolution of your scanner and the smallest scanning resolution that will give you the best actual resolution. Flatbed scanners fudge the resolution numbers big time. My Epson V500 with a claimed hardware resolution of 6400 x 9600 has an actual resolution of 1290 x 1600 which is still pretty good for a flatbed. 5
