Q: 1. I have a sony alpha 5000 with a few e-mount lenses. Will those lenses fit on the a7ii, or are they incompatible? Thanks

A: Hi! You can use the lenses from Sony a5000. Both cameras are E-mount. -Anthony

Q: 2. Can I use my Minolta Maxxum autofocus lenses with this camera?

A: Yes, with either of the following adapters. Here is the story. The LS-EA4 has a pellicle mirror with a built-in motor for Sony Alpha and Minolta AF lenses. Auto Focus is phase detection and the autofocus points of the adaptor are used instead of the cameras. The AF is full speed and works in both still and video modes. The LS-EA4 is more expensive, heavier, and has a 1/3 stop loss compared t the LA-EA3. Sony A-Mount to E-Mount Lens Adapter with Translucent Mirror Technology (Black) B&H # SOLAEA4 The LA-EA3 is for lenses with a focus motor. However, it is very slow and AF does not work in video at all. However if manual focus is OK with the photographer, the LA-EA3 is smaller, lighter, cheaper and has no 1/3 stop loss. Sony A-Mount to E-Mount Lens Adapter (Black) B&H # SOLAEA3

Q: 3. does a7II have focus priority?

A: Hi Aldres, An uninterrupted stream of up to 60 AF calculations per second maximizes AF performance, precisely and reliably locking onto and tracking moving subjects in a wide range of photographic situations. AF calculation continues even during electronic shutter release so that complex subject motion can be tracked and sudden movements can be predicted with greater precision than ever before. -Anthony

Q: 4. Has dual slots?

A: No.

Q: 5. Does the a7II have a silent mode? I recall (vaguely) that some of the Sony Mirrorless do, but not the a7II. I'm looking for a camera which can be used in situations where the shutter noise is not wanted (inside places of worship, etc.)

A: The A7II while being very quite, does not have a silent mode to silence the shutter completely. The AF confirm and self timer sounds can be disabled however.

Q: 6. Will this work with the wireless strobe command units from Profoto or Paul Buff? What about Pocket Wizards? Do I need a special adaptor? Also wondering about small wireless speed lights.

A: I use the HVL-F20M as a camera trigger for remote flash HVL-F43M. The metering is spot on with this combination and I would not consider the HVL-F60M. I would rather purchase two F43M's and have more flexibility. The hotshoe on this camera is proprietary so you may need the ADP-MAA hotshoe adapter from Sony for third party flash triggers. I have not tested it, but studio strobes should work fine with this adapter.

Q: 7. Does this camera have silent mode?

A: No, it does not

Q: 8. Will this cover the Nikon Z 24-70 2.8 S lens?

A: No, the following lens coat is for the Nikon AF-S Zoom 24-70mm f/2.8G ED autofocus lens.

Q: 9. Can you turn off the focus confirmation beep?

A: Yes. If you go to the MENU → (Setup) → [Audio signals] → desired setting in the camera's Menu and set the Audio Signals to "OFF," it will turn off all audio signals, including the focus confirmation beep tone.

Q: 10. Is this for the newest Sigma sport version or the version released prior to 2013?

A: The LensCoat Lens Cover for Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports is for the version that's now discontinued.

[0.12 lb] Like using these for protection from bumps, dings and dirt. Wish they were a bit grippier on the inside to prevent sliding, but still a great product.

[0.12 lb] I'm of the opinion that anyone who cares about keeping these expensive pro lenses in pristene condtion and without compromise, should have a lencoat. I like the product and find it easy to switch between white or differnt camo prints. I've now purchased several lenscoats in different patterns for wildlife work. It seems so simply but yet so smart.

[0.12 lb] I use to protect all my lenses, long but also short, with LensCoat covers. In fact I usually use my lensens for photographic safaris and therefore it is important to protect the lenses from unwanted scratches which can always occur, even when the utmost care is taken. Available in different patterns, they are a must to go with your lens.

[0.12 lb] this amazing cover does the two things I needed perfectly--protect my expensive lens from scrapes and scratches and insulates my hands from the cold lens barrel while shooting in extremely cold conditions. Now I want one for my EF 300 f/2.8 next.

[Canon White] As a pro I am very rough on my gear. This cover is peace of mind knowing I am protecting it from scratches and nicks. Love how it fits. The camo pattern also conseals the white lens when I am in the field with wildlife.

[0.12 lb] Tried having walking on the park for some bird shots... good i have this coz if not for this my camera would be scratch free no more, didn't notice the branch sticking infront of me and hit my camera, well, if you invest an expensive camera, why not protect it.

[Canon White] Couldn't ask for a better lens. Very sharp images and focuses fast. If you like the option that a zoom lenses gives then this is the lens for you. It is just like the 70-200 2.8 lens but only at a shorter distance. Would recommend this lens for everyone, at every level of photography.

[0.12 lb] My main use is for bird photography, and camouflage is necessary. They fit; they do their job; they protect the lens, and I couldn't work without them. Excellent.
