Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it collapsible?

A: Yes, this is a soft pouch.

Q: 2. I have a Canon m50 mark ii and would like a underwater housing, i found the ikelite 200DLM/A underwater housing, does this fit on it if i use the 15 - 45 mm kit lens? And do i need any other parts too?

A: Yes you need that dome, Ikelite DLM 6" Dome Port with Zoom Control for Wide-Angle Mirrorless Lenses and you will need this as well, Ikelite 5515.03 Zoom Sleeve for Olympus M.ZUIKO 14-42mm ED or Canon 15-45mm IS Lens in DLM Dome Port, https://bhpho.to/3Xqj6AF

Q: 3. how do I add a blue water filter with this port?

A: There really is not a blue water filter for the Ikelite DC3 6" Dome for Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark VI Underwater Housings. The workaround is to get Rosco E-Colour+ #779 Pink (21 x 24") Sheet. This gel corrects the blue water color cast perfectly. You will need to cut it and tape it inside the dome. Here is the link: https://bhpho.to/2CTzrXF

Q: 4. Will it fit the ikelite flat port 5510.35?

A: Ikelite WD-4 Wide-Angle Conversion Dome Port is not compatible with the Ikelite flat port 5510.35. You have to use the port, extension and ring listed on the Ikelite port chart for your lens. For help in finding the correct items for your lens please email us at uw@bhphoto.com.

Q: 5. How can I connect the dome with the Housing , I think there is a Adapter I can’t know it?

A: Follow instructions on the Ikelite pdf attached: http://docs.ikelite.com/instructions/6402-instructions.pdf

Q: 6. can this lens fit 200DLM/A Underwater Housing for Sony Alpha a6100, a6300, a6400, a6500 Mirrorless Cameras ?

A: Yes, Ikelite DLM 6" Dome Port with Zoom Control for Wide-Angle Mirrorless Lenses is compatible with the Ikelite 200DLM/A Underwater Housing for Sony Alpha A6300, A6400, A6500 Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 7. What is the difference between this item and the Ikelite W-30?

A: Everything underwater looks 25% larger and closer to our eyes and any lens with a flat element or port. Your camera's built-in lens will have the same angle of view underwater as it does on land with the Ikelite WD-4 Wide-Angle Conversion Dome Port. The Ikelite W-30 Underwater Wide-Angle Conversion Lens turns the lens built into you camera into a lens with a 40% larger angle of view. You do get more distortion with the W-30 and the edge of the image will be sharper with the WD-4.

Q: 8. Does this fit the P135 flat port port?

A: Yes, this is the correct option for the P-135 Lens Port

Q: 9. Does this cover protect against water and humidity?

A: easyCover claims its neoprene covers have water-resistant exteriors but does not comment on their protection against humidity. In our estimates, its resistance against humidity is minimal, and you would be better protected against it with desiccants in your carrying case such as these: https://bhpho.to/3kheI5X https://bhpho.to/3Epl4IF

Q: 10. Can it fit a 16-35 prime lens Canon

A: Absolutely. You'll have to pair it with extensions to accommodate the 16-35 lens. The best way to determine which extensions you need is to find the camera model on our website and use the associated port chart. a href= https://www.ikelite.com target= _blank https://www.ikelite.com/a

[Black] Lost the cover for my Ikelite wide angle lens and needed a replacement. It has more bulk than my original, but works great. I would recommend this.

[8.7 x 4.8 x 2"] A Necessity to protect your ports, especially on crowded boats.

[8.7 x 4.8 x 2"] I use this diffusers on a couple of DS161. Shoot with a 7Dmk2, but most of the times I notice the flash too agressive in TTL mode (camera at ISO 100). When you are using a zoom lens an looking for some live form, you cannot adjust in every shoot, so TTL it is almos the best way to go. Anyway, with this products the flash harsh was gone, as well the shadows. I cannot take more pics without these anymore.

[Neoprene] Like the specifications said, the dome simply slides onto the Ikelite port. Easy to use and of course great that it is a wet lens as it gives more flexibility. Best to add a bit of silicone gel on the rubber rim on the inside of the dome to make taking on/off an easier affair. There are two air-holes on the dome but not all air bubbles escape this way so it was a bit of a pain to open it, let the bubbles out and put it back on again. It may seem like a small matter as it only takes 30 seconds at the beginning of the dive to adjust this but if it is a whale shark dive then the 30 seconds feel way too long! You will also need to zoom in with the camera just a little to get rid of the dome sticking out at the sides but even with the zoom-in, it is still very wide. Corners are crisp and my pictures have been great. All in all, a great product, highly recommended.

[Black] I shoot with a pair of DS 160 strobes. In the past I've used the flat diffuser that come with the strobe. In the waters off of North Carolina and NY/NJ we frequently have a lot of suspended partials. While the flat diffuser offers some help against backscatter - i find they also create 'hot spots'. The new dome diffuser create a more even light and knock down more of the backscatter.

[Neoprene] I shoot in cold green water and use a ds 161. This diffuser is absolutely needed for shooting underwater and it does its job fantastically.
