[8-Bit 4:4:4] My company needed a new camera for our conference room. I had recently ordered an Alfatron Salut for my office (from B&H as well) and I really like it, so I researched the Alfatron PTZ camera options and settled on this 10x USB camera. As always, shipping from B&H is quick. We set the camera up in the conference room using the wall mount that was INCLUDED in the box! It came with all the necessary cabling for various situations to include the RS-232 cable, a power cord, and a USB y cable. That said, we were connecting directly to the computer, so all we needed was the included USB cable which powers the camera. You do need to plug both USB jacks on the y side into the computer for the camera to properly work. Once we figured that out, the rest was easy. The included remote control for the camera is easy to use as well. You can get to the menu of the camera if you need to make critical changes and you can save multiple presets using the remote which is nice in a conference room situation. The 10x zoom gets some really good close-up shots and the panning feature gives you almost 360 degrees of coverage. Overall, another great product from Alfatron and another happy shopping experience with B&H. This is a great value for the money. I highly recommend this product.

[HDMI] I ordered an Alfatron Salut video camera to replace my existing camera/mic system in our small conference room.  I immediately noticed an improvement in the quality of the picture over our old camera and the sound quality from the built-in speakers in our meeting area was a vast improvement over the computer speaker
we were using.  A larger room should really have a larger speaker system as it doesn’t get much louder than the computer speakers, but for our purposes it is plenty.  We used it on a couple of ZOOM meetings already and we were told that we sounded much clearer with the Salut than with our old set up.  For $250, the Salut is a great update to any small meeting room situation.

[Yes] I was looking for an upgrade for my built-in webcam (HP laptop about 5 years old), but I wanted something with a wider viewing angle and better image quality. This unit was plug and play (it uses a standard USB connection on the computer side and a Type C connector on the camera side). I liked the fact that the cable was not simply attached to the camera since I could replace the cable in the future if necessary. The CAM-200 showed up in Zoom as a camera option immediately (I had to close out of Zoom and re-open it, but that's it) and I did not need to download any drivers...It just worked. As far as image quality, it was a big upgrade from my built-in camera, much clearer, with better color rendering, and the field of view was much wider. It also reacted much better to strong light sources coming from behind me (my built-in cam would often wash out when sunlight was coming in from a window directly behind me). The clip mount is just OK, it certainly works fine, but it takes a little adjusting. The unit also has a threaded shoe mount on the bottom which is handy if you want to mount it on a small tripod.  Packaging was nice and B&H kept updating me on the order as this was initially back ordered. All in all, very happy with the product/purchase experience.

[HDMI] We have an outdoor live location that is transmitted back to our newsroom via fiber circuit. This switcher allows me to keep an HD signal generator (Maxtron) running so the control room can check on the circuit before deploying a crew. When the camera is plugged in it switches to that source automatically and resumes the test signal as soon as the camera is powered off. The unit has been in a weatherproof outdoor enclosure running continuously for two years with no issues so far.

[UHD 4K at 60] I received this as a wonderful Christmas gift from my mother, the
Kramer VP-770. I am using it to digitize a number of VHS/Beta/Hi-8/and DVD performances from my Alma Mater, as well as from other clients. It has performed superbly. The ability to Time Base Code the squiggly analog tapes and output a clean 720P or 1080P signal, plus being able to align the audio signal, has been a blessing. In the world of digital there are a number of analog items that may be lost. I am grateful that Kramer makes a truly spectacular TBC Switcher/Upscaler to complete the restoration.
