Capture high-resolution UHD 4K imagery in your conference room, event space, or house of worship with the black BZBGEAR 4K NDI PTZ Camera with Tally Lights & 25x Zoomfrom BZBGear. This camera features a 1/1.8" Sony 4K CMOS sensor, a 25x optical zoom, accurate autofocus, and simultaneous output via HDMI, 12G-SDI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, NDI|HX and IP streaming with SRT support. The NDI protocol, NewTek's innovative IP technology, gives you low-latency access to audio and video devices anywhere on your network for various A/V applications. You can embed analog audio into your video using the 3.5mm audio input.

You can record the camera's capture up to 4K resolution onto an optional microSD card up to 1TB. The camera features LED tally lights to indicate the camera is on or idle. The camera supports PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) so it can be controlled, powered, and can stream over one connector, and it also supports RS-232 and RS-422 serial control.

A: 1) This camcorder can only stream via 1 protocol at a time. What most customers do when using a camera like this is they use NDI to send the video to their switcher across a local network and then the switcher is in charge of streaming out to YouTube via RTMP. (switcher can either be hardware like a NewTek Tricaster or software such as Vmix, Wirecast, or OBS) 2) there is no additional licensing cost for accessing NDI. I hope it works out for you!

A: The Canon CR-N500 Professional 4K NDI PTZ Camera with 15x Zoom (Satin Black) (B&H# CAPTZCRN500) has two XLR inputs that may be set using the camera's configuration software to mic level, line level, or mic level plus phantom power. Incidentally, the same is true of its 3.5mm input, with the power level being appropriate for that input (Plug-In Power rather than phantom power).

[Yes] Plugged it in, set the switcher IP and everything worked straight away. Should work with any modern ATEM switcher. Outdated and discontinued models will obviously not work since the API has changed over the years. For ATEMs over Ethernet, you don't need to do the Learning part of the setup, so just skip that. Set the switcher IP in settings and it should begin working immediately. 5

[Yes] We first purchased a datavideo box camera for the back of our sanctuary. That turned out to be a mistake and didn't look nearly as good as our other Cannon and Sony cameras. So, we decided to narrow our search to the two brands we were already working with. We wanted a reliable fallback shot of the center of the front of the room that would always be dependable. We also wanted a non-obtrusive, small, mountable format that could sit above the back doors, yet still capture a tight shot all the way in the front. This was the camera that finally delivered. Plenty of optical zoom to get just the shot we want, flexibility with the remote control features and scene recall, not bulky or distracting as people exit. The camera's horizontal viewing angle looks natural compared to our other PTZs and camcorders. (whereas the Srg-XP1 leans more toward fisheye) All around, very good. The only wish that wasn't fulfilled was SDI video out for our switcher. I chose to convert the HDMI to SDI because of the length of run, so we made it work. Love this camera! 5

[0.5 Lux] The camera is doing a great job with live-streaming our church service. We did have to down scale it for our provider but in time technology will improve in their end. The camera does not have any image stabilization so if you are zoomed in over a long range someone walking by will create a slight tremble in the image if you don’t have it mounted on something to absorb the shock. We are covering a distance of about 65 feet and it produces a great image for us. 5

[7.14 lb] I was worried that it would be difficult to configure, but one single ethernet cable connected to a POE injector and they have power and provide a pristine image to Vimeo's Livestream Studio. It took seconds to go from no signal to live streaming. And learning to set presents and recall presents is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Literally. Push preset, Push a number, and then Push enter. These are well worth the investment. 5

[0.5 Lux] I did a comprehensive review on YouTube going through the UI, Testing NDI latency, low light etc. I've use this with Sony PXW-Z90v cameras (also a 1 sensor) Pros: 4k NDI requires just ONE cable! Image Quality is better than the Sony PXW-Z90v (in low light) Works with eCamm Live (Mac) via NDI (plug and play) only 3 frame latency with NDI Fine motor movements Works with Mac Safari Browser Has XLR Inputs Cons: I wish these devices had a camcorder battery (I could rig this to be totally wireless) Does not have full NDI, so it isn't compatible with the Birddog Flex Initial setup is confusing Does not come with a lens cap (be careful when transporting) - two can fit in a Pelican 1637 case. If you want to use NDI with the ATEM or any other HDMI based switcher, you should get the Magewell Pro Convert NDI to HDMI adaptor here at BH Photo. My use case: I put this in the center of a dining area for a fundraiser that provided almost 360 degrees of coverage without obstructing the views for the audience. I paired this with a Skaarhoj PTZ Pro controller. Tip: When you first plug it in via HDMI, you will need to set a username and password via the web browser before you can use the camera.
