The Anton Bauer VCLX 2 Charger for VCLX NM2 Batteryfeatures a slim and portable design and allows you to charge your Anton Bauer VCLX NM2 battery. It mounts magnetically onto the battery for a slim package, and it charges your battery in approximately five hours using an advanced charging algorithm that provides the fastest possible charge.

While the charger includes a US IEC power cable, it supports 90 to 240 VAC input power, so you can power it throughout the world using an optional IEC power cable of your choice. A built-in 3-pin XLR connector allows you to charge your battery using an optional 3-pin XLR cable.

Q: 2. Can the batteries be left in the charger after fully charged for an indefinite time (without over charging/harming the batteries)?

A: According to Anton Bauer, they want you to keep the batteries in the charger at all times they are not on the camera. These are smart chargers. They stop charging when the battery is full. The charger then switches to maintenance mode. There is no danger whatsoever of over charging your batteries with the LP2.

Q: 3. Does the 4-pin XLR port output power from the batteries ?

A: We're afraid not. This kit has space for an older style 2 battery flat Anton Bauer D-2722 charger. That larger, standing 4 battery charger will not fit.

[4.35 lb] I shoot wedding videos and usually all my batteries are dead even before the wedding dinner is done. But with this heavy Hytron 140, with the single battery it was so powerful it gave me juice until the middle of the dancing part. After about 7 hours when all batteries are exhausted, I switched back to the last remaining juice of hytron 140 to video the last 10 mins of wedding couples exit. To my surprised I was so happy to be able to record that exit and then my hytron finally ran out of power. Folks I am talking about extended life of a battery which saved my wedding video shoot. My shoulders are aching carrying a DSR 300 but it is all worth it. Very expensive but worth the power it provides 5

[5 Hour] Tops off the battery with the most charge so you will always have a fresh brick ready to go. Unlike TM4 which charges them all at the same time. 5

[5 Hour] While this charger is much pricer than others, it is hands down the best. It's got a great build quality and charges all your batteries at once. I had used this charger extensively before purchasing and am so happy to finally own it. There is an antenna on the back that is prone to breaking/being lost, so that is something to take into consideration. 5
