[Zipper] The Ruggard 17-inch Slim backpack is an affordable durable backpack option.


In the main laptop compartment I keep my macbook pro 16 inch and my Ipad mini with space to spare. Once the laptop is in there is a decent amount of extra space available.


The next pocket opens up like an alligator mouth which I really like as an option and makes it easier to pack up quickly. There is a strap for clothing and on the opposite side two zipper pockets and 3 stitched-in open pockets. I keep chargers and small hard drives in these.


The two pockets in the front are surprisingly large as well. I keep my larger cable bag in the full-length pocket with no problem.


One of the coolest features of this bag is the USB port on the outside of the bag. You can put a charger on the inside and then just plug your cord in on the outside and you are charging. It's nice to not have to open the bag and dig through stuff just to get access to a charger.


I just took this on a trip and didn't have any comfort issues wearing it for several hours at a time loaded with gear and clothes.


This little bag is pretty awesome.

[Zipper] Wanted to downsize from a 7D and battery grip to the M6 for a trip overseas. This bag is perfect for that camera, the kit lens, a mid-range zoom, 50mm, with the assorted batteries and chargers, with room left over. I could probably fit my 70-200 in there as well, but I'm trying to save weight.

[Zipper] Mounts with a pair of magnets, plugs into a USB port on the monitor. You have to plug in the USB-C cable to the computer (which also carries video as well as USB). To get it to work with an M2 Mac Mini, I had to install Dell's DDPM app for the U2421E - otherwise none of the USB ports worked on the monitor.

[2.04 lb] I bought this for a trip to Europe, not wanting to take my full-size bag. I recently upgraded to an M6ii with all the weight-savings that implies. This bag holds the body with kit lens, and most of my EF glass: 28-135, nifty-50, 10-18 and adapter; three chargers, six batteries and ample space for a little more. I think I could fit my 70-200 2.8 in there, but I don't need it for the trip. As a bonus, my 10-inch tablet fits perfectly in the dedicated pocket. There are straps for a tripod or monopod (I don't plan to use) and a pocket for water (which I will use).


Build quality seems really solid and I wore it around the house to get used to it. It's plenty padded and comfortable. If I have to ever upgrade my large bag, I'll definitely consider Ruggard again.


I can't think of any drawbacks to this bag. I suppose if you wanted to carry a jacket or larger laptop, this bag wouldn't be the one, but if that's the case, just order the larger bag.

[Yes] This bag is not bad at all, its bigger then I thought. I was not sure of purchasing , but in speaking with customer service for advice and i am glad it did, she was very knowledgeable and helpful with my decision .

The bag is well padded, has plenty of room for 3 lens plus one on the camera, could probably fit another small lens. The front compartments are spacey and also has plenty of room for cables, battery's a charger and the laptop compartment is well padded.

[Zipper] Excellent photo backpack. For the price you can't beat it, especially for all the features it has. I've had several bags and I like this one for the versatility and space. If I had one complaint it would be the zipper for the main bag space. It sometimes gets caught on the flap and you have to work it free. Small issue but still annoying from time to time. I love the backpack features such as the bottom latch to hold it on your back and the latch across the chest. The bag holds my full frame mirrorless plus 3 lenses. Not bad for a compact case that's water resistant as well.

[Zipper] This is a great bag and an excellent value. I shopped for hours reading all reviews and when it arrived I was not disappointed. All the negatives that I read about it are unfounded. The bag has multiple ways to accommodate a tripod; all very secure. Plenty of room for gear and is just the right size for my Sony a7riii, 12-24mm, 24-105mm, Sony a6000 and two additional
lenses. Plenty of room for my laptop, Straps are comfortable and well constructed. Only minor negative is lack of a trolley strap for travel with carry-on luggage, though an adequate work around is using the waste strap adjusted tight. You can get something more rugged for 2-3x the price, but for moderate outdoor use you can’t beat the value.

[Zipper] This shoulder bag is small enough and big enough while offering great equipment protection. Perfect for camera body with a 16-50mm lens, a 50-250mm telephoto lens, flash and accessories. This bag is extremely well made with great stitching, plenty of storage pockets and dividers. You can't go wrong with this one.
