Made of a high-strength polymer resin, this Odyssey Vulcan Utility Case with Pluck Foam 19.25x14x4.25case features an interior space of 19.25 x 14 x 4.25" and comes with cubed foam sheets that fully take up the interior. The cubed foam can be plucked as needed to customize to your gear. The case also comes with convoluted foam under the lid. The case is impact resistant, watertight, and dustproof. It has a comfortable carrying handle, a pressure release valve, and padlock holes. It's also stackable with other Vulcan cases of the same size.

A: The 1500 should easily accommodate those items. I can fit my DSLR, long throw, short throw and flash system all in the case.

A: It is not deep enough. You need 95mm for the front flange and the inside depth is around 65mm.

A: the foam in this case is one piece only

A: The pick and pluck squares are one quarter inch square and the outside quarter inch border is not perforated effectively redesign the width and length by half an inch each.

A: It has a buoyancy rating of 50 pounds which means you can put up to 50 pounds in the case and it will still float.

[Universal] I needed to use a blade to get exact plucks on the foam. I don't think it's possible without a blade. 5

[Cubed Foam] I needed a case to store spare microphones in my studio, and wanted to find one that could my AKG C1000s. This case does the trick. I didn't really need a hard case but it's nice to know everything inside is safe. The different layers of foam can be punched out to accommodate standard dynamic mics like the Shure SM58 as well. Everything is snug and cozy. I'm using the accessories slot for mic clips but it can be customized via the foam as well if you need more space. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase and it looks like it will last a long time. 5

[Universal] Nice foam option to fit dynamic and small condenser mics securely. The extra space for things is nice. You can fit some condensers and mic clips in there. This case could definitely be thrown down a flight of stairs with out braking. 5

[Black] It's easy to use. It fits the Pelican 1040 case. It is pre-cut so all you have to do is tear out the cubes of foam. For more custom cuts, you can use a cutting tool. This is primarily used to hold something in place so that it doesn't move around and get damaged. 5

[Cubed Foam] Just returned from a rafting trip for which I purchased the Pelican case and Pick N Pluck insert. This worked extremely well in protecting my camera as it enabled a custom fit in protecting the camera from shock and sliding around within the case. 5
