Q: 1. Does this come with a ICU?

A: When shopping our site you can always see what is included with an item by viewing the overview tab and finding the “In the Box” listing located on the right hand side of our web page. The ICU is not listed in that section because it is not included. We list the ICU as an essential accessory in the recommended accessories section on our website.

Q: 2. Are any compression/gatekeeper included in the bundle BH #FSM1168101 . Or is the bundle = backpack+rain cover+pro insert only?

A: Yes, the f-stop TILOPA 50L DuraDiamond Travel & Adventure Camera Backpack Bundle (Cypress Green) BH #FSM1168101 includes two compression straps in the box.

Q: 3. Would this fit a Nikon Z8 and 180-600mm lens?

A: A Canon DSLR with a Sigma 60-600mm Lens or Canon 100-400mm II Lens attached can fit in the TILOPA 50L DuraDiamond Travel & Adventure Camera Backpack. As for holding a water bladder, the pouch that can accommodate it is 18", so a bladder within that size could fit.

[Universal] This bag from f64 is a game-changer for working solo in the field. Even though this is the “extra large,” I think it’s ideal for 4x5. 8x10 would be really tight and would only allow for a couple holders.

In the main compartment alone, I was able to carry a Toyo 45AII / 90mm / 150mm / 210mm / Mamiya 7II / 80mm / Sekonic L308 + L758 / 4x loupe / dark cloth. It also accommodates up to four f64 holder bags (= 20 holders total) on the sides. The top compartment could then fit additional lenses, accessories, other supplies etc.

I’m not a backpacker so I can’t compare this bag with traditional hiking gear but I was walking about 20km/day for a week with this bag and felt quite comfortable.

[Zipper] Excellent backpack for 4x5, very soon I'm going to buy the second one for my 8x10.

[Gray] Three weeks ago I got a preowned Tachihara 8x10. But how to carry it, esp. if you are an addicted nature photographer?

First time I've seen this rucksack on youTube, but couldn't find a distributor in Europe (I'm living in the black forest, south of Germany).

So I decided to order it at B&H on 10pm Monday and got it on 1pm Thursday (DHL).

I'm very happy with it! It's the smallest possible wrapping for your 8x10 and the upper part is big enough for three lenses, magnifying loupe an light meter. I put the dark cloth rolled in the rain cover bag on the downside.

Considering that you get two additional bags for five 4x5 film holders (which you don't need, if you use it for 8x10 only) it's an inexpensive backpack.

I recommend it and would buy it again!

[Gray] Phenomenal. Does it all. Places for everything, surprising storage. Comfort, modularity in the shape of less discreet hiking pack. Excellent construction...

[Zipper] I've owned a Zone VI bad for 25 years and decided it was just too hard to pack everything I needed. Read reviews on many different large format packs and decided to make the choice. I'm glad I did. Everything has its own padded compartment and totally adjustable. I carry a Chamonix 45F-2, with 90mm, 120mm, 150mm, 210mm, and 300mm lens. 30 holders, light meter, focusing cloth, loop, and misc. filters.

I can sling it on my back and walk carrying my tripod. I am not a backpacker photographer, most of my images are made within 100 yards from the vehicle so I have no feedback on cross country packing!

[Zipper] An excellent bacpack. I carry my 4x5, 5 lenses, 12 sheet film holders, 2 light meters, filters and general accesories. Easy for walking, and I feel confident with the bacpack.

[7.34 lb] A great back pack, perfect for my purposes. It doesn't have a padded laptop compartment which might be a deal breaker for you but there is a large compartment in front that you could put your laptop with neoprene sleeve in. I use it specifically for shooting music festivals where I have to keep everything from LED panel lights to filters with my camera and safe on my back. I use the top section for my interview mics and sound kit and the main compartment for my sony fs700, 24-70, 16-35 and 70-200 lenses. The side pouches are great for easy access to batteries and filters. A bag this big fully loaded is obviously ridiculously heavy but the weight distribution is great with the waist belt. The waist belt is also removable, but keep it on to save your back.

[7.34 lb] I have been looking for something to carry my large format rig in that is comfortable and functional. This backpack hits all the marks I need. I don't know how I functioned before.
I can comfortably and safely carry my 8x10 camera, two lenses, three holders, filters, meter, darkcloth. I don't worry about throwing my back out anymore. That's a nice feeling. For the price, it's a game-changer

[Zipper] I hesitated a lot before buying this backpack. I read and re-read reviews in pro and against this backpack. However, it seemed to me that it was the only one that could accommodate my 8x10 equipment. I do not regret the selection. I found this backpack to fit very nicely my 8x10 field camera with at least three lens holders, three lenses (2 in copal 1 and 1 in copal 3), Pentax spot meter, dark cloth, an 8x10 to 4x5 reducing back, loupe, shutter release cable, and notebook. In the attached two packs, I can carry up to 12 4x5 lens holders, but I usually carry only one with 5  4x5 lens holders. The other pack is for water and some peanuts. I found the backpack to be well padded, and the dividers are also strong and padded. It feels just right on my back. I can attach my 055 Manfrotto with a 3-way head at the back. Because it has adjustable straps and belt like straps, I can walk long trails with it without feeling tired. It is large, compared to others but you dont have to push things and pack them like sardines. Everything feels comfortable. I use an Intrepid 8x10.  However, a Chamonix and a Canham would fit just fine.
