Operating in the 905.8 to 925.9 MHz frequency band, the black Nady DW-44-LT-HM UHF Wireless Microphone Systemis a four-channel UHF wireless headset microphone system, offering easy setup for up to four subjects, making it ideal for fitness instructors, singers, actors, panel speakers, and presenters. This version of the system includes four HM-3 dual-ear cardioid headset microphones and four LM-14 lavalier mics, four bodypack transmitters, a 4-channel rackmount receiver, the required power adapter, and a 1/4" cable.

Connect the moisture-resistant headset microphones to the bodypack transmitters via their locking 3.5mm mini jacks. The HM-3 headsets offer a boom mic on the left side with a cardioid pickup pattern for less background and feedback. If you prefer a more low-profile look, opt instead for the LM-14 omnidirectional lavalier mics, which can be attached discreetly to a collar or lapel.

Each transmitter locks to the receiver on a preset UHF frequency and is powered via two AA batteries (available separately) for up to 11 hours. An LED indicates battery power, while the mute/power button allows the wearer to quickly mute the mic if necessary.

Incorporating 24-bit, 48 kHz digital technology and dual removable antennas, the receiver is designed to deliver clear and consistent signal with ultralow latency. Each of the four receiver channels offers adjustable volume, metering, and a balanced XLR output. A single 1/4" output sums all four channels together for users who don't have a mixer and want to plug directly into a PA system.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I get extra receivers?

A: Yes you can use additional Nady PEM-RX receivers but these are not available standalone at B&H.

Q: 2. What is the battery life?

A: The battery life on the transmitter for the Pyle Pro PDWM8880 Wireless UHF Microphone Conference System with 8 Gooseneck Mics would depend on the kind of battery you are using. If you are using lithium-ion rechargeable AA, it would be up to 6 hours on 2000 mAh, up to 8 hours on 2500 mAh and up to 12 hours 2850 mAH.

Q: 3. Can you remove the antennas?

A: No, the antennas in the rear of the DW-22 receiver are not removable, but they can be adjusted for tilt and angle.

Q: 4. Can 2 or 3 of these rack units be used at the same time? Have a school play where at least 16 mices will be needed.

A: You can use multiple Nady 8W-1KU wireless systems at the same time. The system's 1000 user-selectable frequencies with auto-scan enable you to easily locate clear operating frequencies for each of the eight independent receivers, so it should be possible to use two or three systems simultaneously.

Q: 5. Will this unit work with a digital camera?

A: The Nady DW-22 HTLT Digital Wireless Microphone System has the potential to work with a digital camera, but compatibility would largely be influenced by the capabilities and specifications of the camera. The camera should have an audio input jack capable of receiving an external audio input, and the set would need the proper cables to connect the two units together.

Q: 6. Could this system be used as an audio mic for a battery powered speaker (everse 8)via an car input cable

A: You can use a DC power cable from the receiver of the Nady DW-22 or the Electro-Voice R300, connected to the DC Power Out port on the Electro-Voice Everse 8 speaker.

Q: 7. Could this be used as an input and output of an audio interface to a macbook pro for streaming?

A: This would connect to the input of your interface and work to transmit the microphone audio while streaming. There would be no way to monitor wirelessy.

Q: 8. Good Option for loud and large crowds, like in a school cafeteria?

A: Yes, the VocoPro UHF-3205-10 UHF Dual-Channel Rechargeable Wireless Microphone System could be used in a school cafeteria setting. This system has a specified maximum operational distance of 197 feet or 60 meters, but reception can be affected by obstructions in between the transmitter and receiver, including bodies. When paired with a robust speaker PA system, this could work well for loud and large crowds as described. The wireless microphone system does not amplify itself.

Q: 9. Can you get lav cardioid transmitters with tie clips & handheld units?

A: At this time, we do not have a current cardioid lav option compatible with this Nady system.

Q: 10. How does battery charging work here?

A: The transmitter within the Nady PEM-02 Wireless 2-Person In-Ear Monitoring System uses an AC power supply, and the included bodypack receivers use AA batteries. If the AA batteries chosen are rechargeable, they should have their own proprietary charger.

[Black] I needed a ribbon mic in the home studio, mainly to record anything that's loud and needs a warm tone. Most ribbon mics seem really expensive, so I'm glad this one exists. Using this up close to a guitar amp sounds great. Combining this with a good dynamic (Shure SM57/Audix i5/Audio-Technica MB 2k) side by side up against a guitar amp sounds awesome!! I also tried to record a trombone with it, as I've heard ribbons are the best mic to use for that. This thing blew any dynamic mic out of the water for capturing brass sound. Thank you Nady and B&H!!

[48 kHz / 24-Bit] The construction of the PCM 200 is very sturdy, solid metal, and looks very professional. My only concern is that the threads that connect to the mic stand don't seem to want to screw on to everyone of my stands. I am using for live theater where we produce Old Time Radio. It looks authentic but most importantly sounds great.

[Mono] I needed an inexpensive dual mic setup and these were perfect. The sound was better than I expected. I like that the mics have a blue stripe and yellow stripe for easy volume control from the soundboard. The only drawback is the single 1/4 cable that it came with so I bought [2] xlr cables.

[Omnidirectional] These mics are inexpensive but built for abuse - and that's what you get. Beautiful sound and safe to put in front of a loud guitar cab or trumpet. Great microphone, I have a pair of them and they're great on everything from Leslies to snare drums.
