[Latch] I LOVE this case. My first from this make. It's built tough. I like the large handles on both the side and the top. The hinges are substantial as are the locks which secure both the front and two sides. The shape is very useful for my application which is housing a cylindrical object. Comes without foam, but I used some Pelican foam in there which I cut to fit and it worked great. 5

[Handle] The HPRC 4100DK waterproof hard case is exactly what I was looking for to protect my Sony HXR-NX5U Camcorder. I wanted a hard case small enough to easily carry the camcorder in the field on hunting and fishing trips. After investing over four hours searching for a professional quality hard case that would fit the camcorder without the being overly bulky I found the HPRC 4100. Hinges, latches, handle, material strength, and operation of opening and closing the top are of the highest quality. On the interior the optional padding kit is also of high quality material. The two soft bags included in the kit are great for taking up extra space around the camcorder and giving a tighter fit. This case can handle the roughest handling but lacking a tightly fitting customized pluck foam interior that surrounds the camcorder the camcorder will move around inside the case if the case is takes a tumble and is rolled around. This case is top opening which is very convenient for opening the case since it takes up a lot less space to open compared to a side opening case. If a shoulder strap is a feature you want you will have to purchase it as an accessory. 5

[Latch] I bought 2 of these to transport fully rigged camera systems. I placed a piece of rigid foam in the bottom and cut out a section where the tripod plate contacted and it. Thus the camera stays in place. Each camera is in a RedRock Micro UltraCage Black and just fits. 5

[Latch] Use this case for Sony HXR-MC2000Us. These cameras are used by high school juniors and seniors who must travel it with football, basketball and wrestling teams. Fits all the gear, durable and hard to lose! Love it. Should have switched to these years ago. 5
