[0.09 lb] This LED is outstanding! I'm using it in spaces there I need both hands and don't have the 3rd hand to hold a flashlight. This is the third light that I've bought to leave in spaces where I can work and need a flash light to see.

[0.09 lb] For context, I've been using this light for 6+ months.
I disagree with the users that say the magnet is not so strong. I own (2) PM500R's, (1) PM 200 and (1) PM550.
The PM200 is very strong, the PM500R's weakness comes from the spacing of the 4 magnets (though they are still more than enough) and on small metal surfaces it can compromise the strength because you have part of the magnets making contact. The PM550 large circular magnet (I've found) holds a strong bond no problem when I've needed to use it on chain link fence posts, etc.
The (rechargeable) battery life is fantastic and lumen output is even brighter if you use the compatible Coast Li-ion battery. The rated (high output) lumen count on AA battery is 840L, whereas if you use the Li-ion battery you increase that amount to 1050 lumens. A net 210 lumen gain.
The PM550 produces a crisp, cool or rather daylight color. For reference, it would be on the higher end of the Kelvin color scale.
The base or battery cover has vastly improved over the PM500Rs. The unscrewing/rescrewing issues from the 500r are completely eliminated. The PM550 has also increased in versatility by adding the hanging loop which is found on the base around the magnet.
99% of the time I use the flood light, but the spot beam has an incredible range for times when you need to focus in on stuff farther away. The body seems resilient against accidental drops/falls and has given me no reason to worry. The other work lights I own are contsructed of the same material so that is used to reinforce my confidence in regards to longevity.
I own about 9 Coast work lights, pen lights, lanterns, etc and this one is my favorite. I'd easily recommend this to friends/family.

[0.09 lb] Well made with bright light and one magnet on the center of the base. This works better for me than the 500 model which has four magnets spaced around the base but I still have both lights and use both of them.
