A: Hi Jonathan, Sorry for the confusion. Yes, it is a regular/standard size rack. The length of this case from plastic to plastic end is 23 . The standard 19 rack goes against this dim so you have 2 of space on each side for protection. The width/depth of this case is 17 which goes against the 13 depth of the rack providing 2 of space on either side for knobs and dials sticking out as well as protection from impact. Thank you,Will

A: Hi Cameron, The H4N is wider than the H5 and unfortunately will not fit into this case. We do have a custom cut case for the H4N. BH's model is SK3I09074B01. It doesn't look like the rode reporter mic would fit into that case. You could purchase our 3i-1209-4B-C case that comes with cubed foam or you could get our 3i-1209-4B-D that comes padded dividers. Either one of those cases would give the length you need for the microphone and space for the H4N and other accessories.Thank you,Will
