A: Its is not perfect but its what Im using....my Samsung s6 with a Otter cover, I have shot maybe 100 videos since I got my Joby Gorrilla stand and Tight Pro mount, its not perfect , but it does work , I would say for minor jobs where if the phone fell you wouldn't permanently lose your phone. If my best friend asked me this question I would tell them to go ahead and buy your kit and use the phone with the case if thats what you want, as I do and wont take my phone out of the case and have never had to during film work with the PRO mount. [1x 1/4"-20 Male] Like Joby's other products this handy accessory is manufactured to the same high standards. It is constructed of metal and plastic. The plastic is high quality with fine fit and finish. The bracket adjustment plate is made of metal. The bracket jaws are rubberized and grip the phone securely (if using your phone with its case be sure to check the specs). A very nice touch are the rubberized knobs for tightening the settings; the only caveat is being careful to not overtighten them. I'm currently experimenting with the GripTight PRO attached to an Ultrapod II. The combination has been working well for photographing in situations horizontally or vertically using the Ultra pod's Velcro straps for fixing to objects or just as a tabletop tripod when you want to be in group shot or for low light photography. I have even used the Joby with the Ultrapod's ball head as a forearm brace! Needless to say, there is a lot of potential for this simple gadget. I'm excited about trying it out next on a monopod with small ball head. The more I think about it the more possibilities come to mind. It's only limited by your imagination. If you're in the market for a quality phone holder you ought to do yourself a favor and put this Joby on your short list. This phone accessory is absolutely worth the modest investment. 5

[Ball Head] I needed a mount for my iPhone that was able to switch from vertical to horizontal. It is made by JOBY to match my Gorilla Pod which is a plus. B&H has the best prices for camera products by far. 5

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Had one of those spring powerd kinds which you have to pull apart and try to fit your phone in - useless. Called and was told I didn't need the whole tripod as I already had two of those and that the holder he was recommended would screw onto my tripods, which it did. Easy and smooth to use - fits over my otter case without pressing any of the phone's buttons, easy on, easy off. Just what I wanted. You just can't beat B&H as a retailer for anything. They truly are the best and this product is excellent. 5

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] This is a really awesome case for your iPhone! I do a wide variety of content in the water from surf video to night snorkeling and recently brought this case with me to Tahiti and got some really cool videos of sea turtles. The case is really well built and the inside of the case has different size rubber bumpers that can be put inside to fit a variety of phone sizes incase you get a different iPhone that is a different size. The case does not necessarily float so it is important to understand that before you use it. I would highly suggest getting the bluetooth pistol grip as well as it makes it much easier/faster to take photos and start/stop video. Worth every penny... You can easily swipe on your phone screen with the phone inside of the case so in the event your phone goes to sleep, you can easily turn your phone back on using the touch screen and enter your password or use the Face ID feature. For anyone in need of recording video with sound, you can still do it when your phone is inside - of course it is a little 'muffled' sounding but not really that bad to be honest. Below I put a few screen shots of videos that I took. They were all just taken off of my iPhone 15 pro max. Overall I have nothing really negative at all to say about it - just get the pistol grip and a wrist leash and you are all set to go! 5
