The Denon DCD-900NE Black CD Playerfrom Denon DCD-900NE Black CD Playeris capable of playing both CD and CD-R/RW media, as well as digital files stored on USB flash drives. The audio you playback is enhanced with Denon's Advanced AL32 Processing Plus, which is designed to play music that is accurate to the original source material. Other incorporated technologies work to enhance the purity of audio playback with minimal vibration and interference. The 900NE supports hi-res audio up to 192 kHz/24-bit or DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz when playing your digital media via USB, and the optical drive supports standard audio CDs and CD-R/RW discs filled with MP3, WMA, or AAC files.

Denon's Advanced AL32 Processing Plus is designed to play audio that's as accurate to the original material as possible, and does this by using data interpolation algorithms, up-sampling, and bit-extension.

The DAC Master clock has been placed within the DCD-900NE adjacent to the DAC, in order to perfectly synchronize the digital circuits and ensure a purer audio sound.

A reduction in both vibration and interference is thanks to the internal layout of the 900NE. Audio and digital boards are physically separated, and specific power transformers have been employed to minimize unwanted vibration or interference from affecting audio playback.

A: CD Playback modes: RANDOM: Random playback REPEAT: Repeat playback :Switching between All-track repeat, Single-track repeat and Repeat off. Playing a specific track (Direct searching) Use 0 – 9, +10 to select the tracks. [Example] Track 4 : Press number 4 to select track 4. Track 12 : Press numbers +10 and 2 consecutively. Playing tracks in a specific order (Program playback) Up to 25 tracks can be programmed. In the stop mode, press PROGRAM. “PGM” appears on the display. Use 0 – 9, +10 to select the tracks. [Example] To program tracks 3 and 12 to be played in that order, press 3, +10 and 2 one after the other. Press Triangle Right / Pause . Playback starts in the programmed order. The program is cleared when the disc tray is opened or the power is turned off. When RANDOM is pressed during program playback, the programmed tracks are played in random order. [CD, CD-R] Was pleased I could purchase a CD player of excellent quality at an extremely reasonable price. This player has had no issues playing the CDs I have. I've purchased tons of CDs from the 80s and 90s and they all sound great on this CD player. The only minor issue is the CD player skips intermittently if I have the sub woofer set too high on deep base tracks. 5

[1] I have been a DENON fan since the 80's. Great sound and features that I really like. Bluetooth capibilities for speakers and being able to stream music. Just enjoy a movie with Elite sound. Systems lasts, still got my first one. 5
