A: not recommended this product. My MAC cannot recognize this drive recently and asked to initialize the drive. Doing so I lost all my data there. I tried to reformat and re-initialized once, the problem just came back yesterday.

A: 2015 iMac used Thunderbolt 2 and is not compatible with this Thunderbolt 3 device.

A: You can use the Transcend 1TB JetDrive Lite 330 Flash Expansion Card SD card as a boot drive with an early 2015 MacBook Pro, but I do not recommend using it that way due to the slower read speeds. This SD card is designed more for storage expansion than creating a boot drive.

[0.07 lb] I keep all of my Final Cut, Logic, Photos, etc libraries on here and have no issues editing projects or doing my job. It's not as fast as being on the startup drive but not a huge difference. The only thing that bothers me is I have DropBox on here and every time I wake up my computer, DropBox says it can't fine the folder. But then the JetDrive pops up and I just have to restart DropBox. So not a big deal really. 5

[1 TB] Perfect addition to the MacBook I use it to store seldom used but necessary files. Slower than a SSD but convenient and hassle free. The MacBook sees it as a regular HD, No problem sleeping or waking from sleep. 5

[1 TB] This is a great card that sits almost completely flush with the side of the MacBook. Obviously, the r/w speeds aren’t incredibly fast, but they’re fast enough to store my media library on. I can watch movies and tv shows I’ve downloaded to it without any issue. 5

[0.07 lb] It's a cheap way of getting extra space for your macbook pro. I just leave it in the card slot in my mac all the time and it works just fine. 5

[0.07 lb] I'm using this on a 2021 M1 MacBook Pro to store my music library and a bunch of feature length videos, to free up space on the built-in drive. Music and videos (1080P) play fine, with no stuttering or gaps. It stays connected through sleep/wake cycles. It seats well and it seems impossible to accidentally disturb it. Blackmagic speed tests show 70MB/s write speed and 90 MB/s read speed, so you wouldn't want to use this for something like a Photoshop scratch disk, but for less demanding always onboard storage, it's a great solution. 5

[0.07 lb] I previously had a 256Gb drive in my old MacBook Air. The 64Gb Transcend helped tremendously with the overload. Now I have a MBP 2021 with a 512Gb drive. Good, right? More memory more better. Right? Eh, not so fast. I knew I still needed a sidecar with this drive even though I have over 160Gb available. So I upped the ante with this 128 Gb Transcend, and I cannot believe how quickly I'm eating up space on it! But it's stuff I don't need everyday on my HD, so it's perfect for archiving but keeping close at hand. I'll pare it down one day, but today is not that day! 5
