A: Yes, you can use it as a carry on. I brought it on a flight to the Philippines just fine. Some airlines will have a weight restrictions, but they let me carry it on because they didn't want to be held liable for any damages. I was able to fit a 5d mkiii, 16-35, 24-70, 100L macro, 70-200 and a couple 600 RT flashes and room to spare for 3 batteries and a trigger. Very heavy lol.

A: The Second Skin is a semi-rigid removable insert made from a thermoforming material, allowing you to increase the maximum internal volume of the case while maintaining optimal protection. A: I would minimum of two rows of foam on all sides of your gear (looks to be about an inch I would say). One row will detach too easily but two holds up well and will help maximize space. You definitely can't fit as much in with the foam as opposed to the Velcro padded interior, but certainly have more protection.

[Universal] I use this case for a basic lighting setup and camera. I was able to get two strobe heads, my canon 5d mark ii with a wide angle lens, 2 additional lenses, a magic clamp, light meter, extra battery, cf cards, some cords, and my battery charger in with a little room to spare. I did not expect to get so much in. For portraits I can carry this case and one for light stands. That's pretty awesome. It's a tough case, rolls really nicely, I love all the handles, and the latches work great. I really have nothing negative to say about it. It is heavy, but I'm rolling it 99% of the time. 5

[21 lb] I'm a wery happy and lucky owner of HPRC 2550W, i'm a travel/sport photographer and i move around the world! The best case to carry photo equipment (and not only them, of course) it's a HPRC one!!! there is no doubt!!! Not so heavy, sturdy, practical, i can transport all my more delicate stuff, and even after a plane trip (we know how they treat our luggages) get everything perfect! Coupled with the TSA padlock, ensuring my equipment. I always travel with the products Plaber HPRC ... thanks stefano 5

[Red] This my first venture into a wheeled case and I think i made an excellent choice. So, for a beginner this made a lot of sense to carry all my equipment safely. The case material is solid and the foam inside is easy to manipulate to conform around your particular components. Looks very professional! The only thing is that it's heavy even without any equipment... but that's how solid and protected your components will be. AND, they are available in different sizes... oh and the wheels are smooth too! Go for it! 5

[Yes] the case was as expected. strong and the wheels are solid. was able to carve out 6 prime lens slots, ursa mini pro 12k section and power cable section with no problem. 5
