[Aluminum] The actual item is somewhat different than what is pictured. The benefit is that there is more room to run cables through the pipe. The disadvantage is that the hole in the ceiling tile needs to be bigger. It does exactly what it needs to do, I just had make a few adjustments to make it fit my installation. 5
