A: I am not familiar with the either Metz ring or the Sony A7RII. This PC cord was first made decades ago for the cameras and flashes of the time. It may also work with some newer equipment. I use it with vintage Nikon rangefinder cameras of the 1950s with Nikon Speedlights of the 1980s. It also works with my Nikon FX DSLRS and a vintage Rollei TLR.

A: I had the same problem...fooled around and found you need to move the yellow button to middle then back to the right. Then, see the middle button in the 3-grouping on right face of player? Hit that once and it should bring up the number of tracks on the CD. Hit it once more and the first track should start playing. I'm not at my office to try but I think that's what I did. I'll double check tomorrow. Hope I helped.
