[CRI 97] As a film/tv teacher this light is fantastic. I'm always looking for the best bang for the buck and this light fits that description. The students can use it for a variety of situations. It gives off a large amount of light when put at 100% intensity, but can be dialed down very low when less light is needed. Having the ability to use it in bi-color mode or RGB is also fantastic. It's like 2 lights in one. The fact, that it is Bowen's mount only adds to its flexibility as there is a bunch of different accessories you can purchase and mount to the front. Like different size/shape softboxes, fresnel barn doors... or just stick to the reflector that is provided. You can also just use the provided cap diffuser to soften the light. Having an app gives you remote control of the light which is also helpful. Being LED is good too because the light is powerful, but doesn't get too hot for students to handle. This is like the Swiss army knife of lights for us because it can be used in a bunch of different scenarios and set-ups, which is great for my budget. And the students love it because it is very lightweight too.

[Bowens S] I was searching the market for portable LED lights I came across this brand ordered them took about a week and a half due to back order when it arrived it came in a black bag portable charger a battery and the light does have a port on the side for a direct current pack after the battery charge so I turned it on I was very impressed it has several multiple settings hue saturation and some presets what's your very easy to handle I ordered the barn doors they finally arrived a week later due to back order and I'm very pleased with my lights I'll purchase two more in the future

[200 W ] Perfect photography light for all levels of photography. This is exactly what I have been looking for to help improve my photography projects. The Bluetooth app control is quite more useful than I thought it would be. I would definitely give this a try if you are wondering.

[19.52 lb] You do get some light settings to play around with, including dealing with the color temperature. There is a wide variety of change between the available levels of the color temperature. You can go from very cool and pure white, to very warm almost very orange-like. I tend to stick with this particular settings since I like the warm tone in my videos as I'm sure you've noticed up until this. But being able to have many options to cycle between is always very useful to have.

So how do I mostly use it? Well, I use it as my main light for filming this a-roll. In fact, I'm using it right now and I think it's great. I tend to keep it in a warmer setting, but not the warmest so that they can still look natural enough. One thing to note is that this is a really powerful light, so for me to get a comfortable brightness, I have to keep this light at around 10% of its maximum potential. This is insane because it just goes to show how unbelievably bright it can get, but I don't see myself going maybe past 20% for any circumstance. The other settings are just too powerful, but I'm sure that, that feature would come in handy if you have to keep this light at a distance. So again, the flexibility is really nice.


Overall, I really like this light and think its worth the money.

[Bowens S] So far, I really like this light, it's versatile and easy to carry. I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of quality lighting equipment.

[Bowens S] The quality of light is good. The battery need a DIY setup to hold it and secure the lock. If this had a remote to control the light it would been much more versatile and multi functional. Adjusting the light using the control panel is a bit daunting.

[LCD] This is a great RGB light. The upgrades are awesome. COB RGB, excellent light with the very easy to accessorise Bowens mount. Like it with the cool effects.

[200 W ] I had a Yongnuo YN360 that an employee fried by using the wrong AC adapter. I reached out to Yongnuo- they never responded at all.
I'd bought another GVM light- and the control panel went bad- they asked for a video of the problem- and replaced it. For that reason- I'm sold on GVM.
This light is a LOT brighter than the Yongnuo- and has a lot more features- and pre-set effects. The controls aren't totally intuitive- but first reactions were WOW.
I've got some other GVM lights- I've yet to see how they all play together.
Build isn't pro level- but the case is solid- and should provide good protection.

[Bowens S] I like this light a lot. Being able to change the color temperature is really nice. Being able to change the color to whatever I want is even nicer. Solid interface. Seems well made. The case it comes with is top notch.

[19.52 lb] What I really enjoy about this lighting wand is the ability to switch between settings. My favorite is the party setting where it alternates between colors, it comes in really handy for my youtube videos. I use it as a hair light in my studio shots and I'm really happy with the way it works.
